Super Great Place to Stay
We had 3 nights in St. Augustine on a road trip to Sebring for the 12-Hour car race. Daughter and son-in-law live there, and our friends had relatives that lived nearby on the river, so this Holiday Inn Express was in a great location kinda of midway between all we needed to see and do. Plus it was right off the Interstate. Close to downtown, and several of the places we went to and restaurants we chose, as well. The place was just finishing a big remodel and looked new everywhere. Great large sized rooms with king beds and super nice sheets and pillows. The bathroom was nicely sized and toiletries provided were great as well. Despite lots of families there with kids it was nice and quiet. Parking was well lit and handy to the building with plenty of spaces. Each morning there was a delicious breakfast provided with a lot of choices hot and cold. Best part, every single person from the front desk to the housekeepers were friendly, helpful, and enthusiastic. They spoke to us and greeted us good morning, etc, and seemed very genuine in assuring our comfort and appreciated our stay there. This is so nice. Thanks for a great 3 nights in a very nice hotel. Hope to be back some day.

Keep driving
They are doing renovations. The lobby is a mess. Room was dirty, stains on the carpet and the chair. Lamp didn’t work. No water pressure. I would not stay there again. Been to many HI express and this was the worst. Breakfast was in a construction site.

Clean and Friendly
Overall, 5-star property! Andrew went above and beyond for me! Andrew called 10 mins after I checked in to make sure everything was fine in the room and even printed off a list of things to do in the area which was great since I was visiting for the first time. I will definitely recommend this place to everyone!

Great place to stay for events
Within a decent Uber ride to the Amphitheater. The staff is always friendly and we always stay here when we have an event in St Augustine. Also close by to some restaurants and grocery stores. It's quiet, clean and comfortable as well with very reasonable prices.

Great Customer Service!
My husband, son, and I stayed here one night as we were passing through on the way to Orlando. The location is great to get back on the Interstate and was close to other restaurants/shopping. The hotel needs some refurbishment as age is showing; however, the highlight of the stay was the amazing customer service displayed by on-site management (Clayon). When we checked in, we noticed our room (deluxe 2-queen room) wasn't cool. We thought this may have been due to the window treatments being opened and the afternoon sun shining through. We left to go to dinner and when we came back, it was still warm in the room. My husband contacted the front desk and Clayon was there within 5 minutes. He checked the unit and did a reset to see if this would help. He told us to contact him if it didn't get cooler and he would move us to another room. After waiting for a little while, the room temperature did not improve. My husband contacted the front desk and Clayon came back and assisted us to move across the hall. He also told us that since we were moved to a regular queen room, the cost would be adjusted. He also apologized for the inconvenience. Clayon displayed extraordinary customer service and is definitely suited for management. He is an asset to the company.
