    Nice Hotel

We stayed for three nights and love the amenities. The Starbucks in the lobby is great. The bar and restaurant Cafe Amalfi are exceptional. The only negative is that the rooms need updating. We paid extra for an oceanfront room and it just wasn’t that nice...very small room for the money. The balcony is so small that it’s scary to stand there and defiant sit there. However the entire staff is very nice. I just was disappointed in this not being up to the standards of normal Hilton Hotels.

    Lorraine is amazing!

Lorraine is amazing!!! 45 years with the company and we can see why! Hilton is extremely lucky to have an employee like Lorraine. She was so friendly and welcoming and she provided such outstanding service… extremely friendly and so much fun!!

    Better with power.

We booked this hotel on the 15th of this month and the power was out in our room the entire stay. After checking in we went to the beach, returned, no power. Then we went to dinner, returned, no power. Went to the front desk and they were passing out flash lights. Guest were charging their phones, ect. From other guests, I was told the power had been out since 11am. My husband I checked out Sunday morning @ 8:30 am and there still was no power. It was a lovely resort, wound have been a much better stay with some power in the room.

Can’t Believe This is A Hilton!

We are here for a conference. We had to walk outside to get to our room and the room wasn’t nearly as nice as we expect Hilton to be. The door would not close completely in the first room we were given so the door would not lock. Maintenance came up and got it to close enough so that one lock would work but there was still a crack in the door and cold air was flowing in. We asked for another room and we were given the room next door. As my husband was showering, the water turned off and would not come back on. He had to wipe soap off with a towel! Much later (after he had left for his meeting) it came back on. After looking at other reviews I saw that this had been a problem for some time. I called the front desk and was told someone would be up to check it out but no one came. We will not be staying here again! And we are so disappointed that Hilton would put their name on a hotel like this!

    Bad Experience; Probably Won't Return

The hotel is located in a great location on the beach. However, there were several issues during my stay. Let me say up front that the hotel management was kind enough to make a significant adjustment in my total bill. The minor stuff: My room was definitely showing its age. I couldn't get the balcony door to open, the smoke detector was hanging by a wire from the wall, and the television lineup had no relationship whatsoever to the actual channel numbers. Now, the big issues: There was seldom any hot water. Sometimes you could catch a slow stream of tepid water. On the last morning of my stay, there was no water at all. However, shortly before my business meeting that morning, I did get cold water and a trickle of tepid water enough to clean up. I understood from the management that they were experiencing "boiler issues." That's a reasonable explanation; but they were very slow to react to it over several days. On the first day, they implied that it only affected a few rooms. However, it was the most widely discussed issue in the elevators among guests; and it appeared to affect the entire hotel.
