Stay often for work - won’t stay here anymore after 3rd party vendor required parking
I have stayed at this hotel often over the past 2 years for work. It’s a little outdated but otherwise it’s decent. Recently, I booked a last minute room as usual and was shocked to see they now expect you to pay a 3rd party for parking. It’s never been that way prior. The whole reason I stay here instead of nice properties was to save my company money for the parking but now there’s no point in staying here. Stay at the Melby it’s nicer with better food and now the same price as this one.

Melbourne couple get away
The atmosphere was incredibly relaxing, making for a very pleasant and enjoyable day. The setting was peaceful, and we truly appreciated how comfortable and inviting the environment was. It was the perfect place to unwind. However, our experience at the bar was disappointing. The bartender was neither friendly nor welcoming, which put a damper on an otherwise wonderful visit. My husband and I were ignored for quite some time, which was frustrating.

Horrible
Check in was fine. We were given a $30 room credit for being hilton honors members. Our room was decent but smelled horrible. Ordered room service. It never came. Called the restaurant & the manager was very apologetic & sent Our food up at night charge. Upon checkout, we still had the room credit, so we grabbed a few snacks near the register. Checked out & left. I was emailed a bill & saw we were charged $60 from the gift ship. I called & was told that was a mistake & we would be refunded. Waited...no refund. Called back. Told again that the refund would take a few days. 10 days later, no refund. Called the 1800 number. The rep called the hotel & was told we were never refunded & we spent 60 dollars on water & pretzels. I would never stay here again. Completely dishonest. The restaurant manager was great though. He acknowledged the mistake & made it right. The front desk crew is awful.

Shuttle bus
Malcom was wonderful. He got us where we needed to go and was very accommodating and knowledgeable. He told us about all the places we should go and we had tons of fun. He was the perfect tour guide and we wouldn’t have rather had anyone else. Definitely one of the best drivers around

Excellent room cleaning
This is a great hotel. I especially want to recognize Sylvia and Mercedes who clean the rooms and do laundry. They are EXCEPTIONAL in their work and professionalism. Exceptional. The hotel is also in a beautiful setting. I also found the front desk most helpful.
