Check in was fine. We were given a $30 room credit for being hilton honors members. Our room was decent but smelled horrible. Ordered room service. It never came. Called the restaurant & the manager was very apologetic & sent Our food up at night charge. Upon checkout, we still had the room credit, so we grabbed a few snacks near the register. Checked out & left. I was emailed a bill & saw we were charged $60 from the gift ship. I called & was told that was a mistake & we would be refunded. Waited...no refund. Called back. Told again that the refund would take a few days. 10 days later, no refund. Called the 1800 number. The rep called the hotel & was told we were never refunded & we spent 60 dollars on water & pretzels. I would never stay here again. Completely dishonest. The restaurant manager was great though. He acknowledged the mistake & made it right. The front desk crew is awful.

Malcom was wonderful. He got us where we needed to go and was very accommodating and knowledgeable. He told us about all the places we should go and we had tons of fun. He was the perfect tour guide and we wouldn’t have rather had anyone else. Definitely one of the best drivers around

Excellent room cleaning
This is a great hotel. I especially want to recognize Sylvia and Mercedes who clean the rooms and do laundry. They are EXCEPTIONAL in their work and professionalism. Exceptional. The hotel is also in a beautiful setting. I also found the front desk most helpful.

Shuttle driver Malcolm was awesome
The shuttle driver Malcolm was wonderful. He is a very kind man who told great stories. He was prompt with pick up and drop off and a very cautious driver. Also shuttle drivers John and Michael were also great. They were all wonderful. In fact everyone we interacted with at the hotel was great - Chelsea at the front desk was so helpful and pleasant. Gary was also very nice. The staff at the bar and in the restaurant were great. Despite the fact that our stay was not planned and only occurred as a result of a tragic accident, they made an unfortunate situation much more pleasant. We were treated so very well. Thank you.

Malcolm 5 stars shuttle
Malcom the shuttle driver did an amazing job—got us to the airport quickly. Great conversation, inside tips. The young woman who checked us in at the hotel also did a terrific job—sorry I can’t remember her name. Hilton is hiring good folks. Thanks again Malcom!
