Stay away from the Hilton Los Cabos
Great views, poor service. DO NOT GO HERE. I've been going to Cabo since 95 and this may be the worse service I've ever received. First, this place is severely over priced, 18 dollars for a Venti Starbucks, 6 dollars in the US. Secondly, the pool is awful, people place their towels early in the morning even though they don't plan on attending. I walked around yesterday and no spots available, even though a third of the people weren't in the pool. Thirdly, service is very poor, tried to eat at one of the restaurants, visibly two thirds empty, I was told I needed to wait an hour an a half. Finally, asked the bell service for a recommendation on taxi vs Uber, told to take taxi, Uber wad two-thirds less, wow. Try Zoetry, smaller but better.

Destination Wedding
We recently hosted our wedding at the Hilton Los Cabos, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish! We chose the Hilton for our room block and wedding venue, and we couldn’t have been happier with our decision. Our ceremony took place on the stunning Mio Beach, with the ocean and rocks as our backdrop, creating a breathtaking setting. Afterward, we moved to the Whale Watching Terrace for cocktail hour and the reception, where we enjoyed panoramic views of the beach and ocean. The space was perfect for mingling and dancing under the string lights and stars. A huge thank you to Fernanda from Hilton Los Cabos, who was instrumental in orchestrating the planning and execution of our day. She went above and beyond, always available for video calls to answer any questions and reassured us as our wedding day approached. Thanks to Fernanda, we felt confident of what to expect at each milestone leading up to our day. Aline and Ambar, from HLC Weddings/Sales, were also helpful in any logistical questions as we planned and executed the day. This was invaluable to us as a destination wedding couple from out of the country. We had our onsite visit four months before the wedding (and ironically after we’d booked the venue), which was an incredibly helpful experience. During the visit, we were able to have our menu tasting: we tasted appetizers, meals, drinks, and desserts, and visited each venue where our events would be held. We were able to meet the chefs behind the magic as they presented each course. This gave us peace of mind and reassured us that we had made the right choice for our destination wedding for not only us, but our guests as well. Additionally, our guests were thrilled with their oceanview rooms, which made their stay extra special. The Hilton also assisted us by having the bellman hand-deliver our welcome boxes to all of our onsite wedding guests after check in—a thoughtful touch that was a big hit with everyone. With the fantastic coordination of Fernanda and our amazing wedding planner Illeana from Romantic Cabo Weddings, we were able to get so much done during our onsite visit, and everything fell into place seamlessly. If you do not have a wedding planner, i HIGHLY recommend Illeana and her team. We couldn’t have made a better decision than securing Illeana for not only our day but entire 10 month planning process. The Hilton Los Cabos truly made our wedding day perfect, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate. We will be back to celebrate our one year anniversary in 2025 and I’m counting down the days. Highly recommend!

Hilton Beach resort, views, whales, pools, and beach are 5 star.
This is a 5 star hotel, accommodations, pools, beach, and staff! Location is central to both San Jose and Los CABOS which is great for choices. Breakfast is fantastic, the staff and the food/choices are excellent! Anything we could imagine was available. Dog friendly hotel only good for those not allergic, a problem for us. Down pillows also good for most. Concierges are excellent. Great recommendations, bell staff and housekeeping great. This is a pricey hotel a la carte for taxis and restaurants as nothing is included in rooms if you book online, even with the Altamar suite. We had a few issues which were resolved, and pricing for incidentals (eg. sunscreen 30-40 US), otherwise a 5 star! We did watch whales daily from our balcony, and the pools, and a turtle release 1 night made the 12 night trip special!

Christmas at Hilton Los Cabos
Hilton Los Cabos is a guaranteed fantastic vacation. Took our family there for Christmas 2024. We booked the Altamar suites. Concierge was great with communication about our trip and airport transfers. At Altamar check in, you’re given cold beverages and your luggage whisked away to your rooms. Every staff we encountered provided exceptional service and shows how much they love their work. Hotel was always clean. Rooms were always spotless with turn down service nightly. Restaurants on property-we used Talavera for breakfast and few dinners. Well organized and delicious buffets every time. Pool grill restaurant had the best tacos-order the carnitas. They marinated& grill it fresh daily. Skip Vela however-food was mediocre. We tried it for 2 nights and both were disappointing. Saw whales from the pool deck daily. You can rent ATV, paddle boards, jet skis on property. Beach was swimmable. Beach attendants were great and attentive. Plenty of cabanas on the beach and by the pools for rent. Hotel location was perfect-in between San Jose & Cabo.

Lovely Stay but Expensive
The Hilton at Los Cabos is a very nice hotel/resort away from the pure insanity and cheap thrills that is Cabo San Lucas. The beach is lovely and is very safe/swimmable. Every day, we thoroughly enjoyed the humpbacks that swam by what seemed every 5-10 minutes. We had an ocean front room which was spacious, clean and very comfortable. My only complaint or criticism would how the hotel charges your for every little move you make. I was also disappointed that every single guest was a loud and self-entitled American (not the hotel's fault) which made some parts of the stay annoying, especially the breakfast scene which was a frantic and hectic sprint with everyone running around and piling heaps of food onto plates. The amount of food waste only confirms the entitlement of these obnoxious people. I will say that we had dinner in each of the restaurants and while the prices were very expensive, the food was very good. Would be go back? Maybe but we'll probably be looking for a vacation away from so many Americans.
