Ok stay
I stayed here for one night. It should be noted that the hotel is having major work done to it. Which I am sure will help in the future but it’s not great now. The check in staff was super nice and very friendly. My room was clean and pretty nice. It is right next to the convention center and Disneyland is easily walkable.

One of My Worse Hilton Experiences
I must say, my stay at the Hilton Anaheim has been one of the worst Hilton experiences I’ve had in my 15+ years as a Diamond member. I chose this hotel based on the website’s photos and descriptions—a major mistake. Nowhere does it clearly disclose the extensive renovations currently taking place, affecting nearly every part of the property, including the lobby, restaurant, and pool area. One of the main reasons I selected this hotel was the outdoor pool, which is heavily marketed on the Hilton Anaheim website. However, after booking with this Hotel, I eventually found one small mention—buried in fine print—that the pool is out of service until July 2025. Hilton should either remove these promotional pool images or, at the very least, make the closure notice bold and highly visible. To make matters worse, I also had no hot water in my room. I was told to let the water run for “a bit” since I was on the 14th floor. “A bit” turned out to be 12 minutes. Yes, I timed it. What a waste of water! At check-in, I did appreciate that a room was available early, but the front desk staff was brief and unhelpful. There was no apology or acknowledgment of the renovation-related inconveniences. Additionally, they failed to mention breakfast options or even the $15/day “resort” fee—something I only learned about because of my experience at another Hilton property. Room keys had to be reissued a number of times because they didn’t work, or didn’t include the parking garage exit, which I was assured they would. The coffee maker in the room didn’t work. One area I will compliment is the Hotel chef/cook. In the morning I thoroughly enjoyed the service and the food. The avocado toast was delicious. In addition, I will confirm I was given additional Hilton points for my experience, and a small $100 off my bill, but nothing that compares to the level of frustration I had. Unfortunately, overall, my stay was far from relaxing, enjoyable, or conducive to work. For a property of this caliber and reputation, this level of service and transparency is unacceptable.

Wait until they are finished with the renovation
This was not not the Hilton experience I have experienced in the past. I knew the hotel was completing renovations when I booked the room. However, I was not expecting them to be doing construction in rooms a couple of doors away on the same floor. This location has over 1000 rooms. You would expect them to block off a section and complete their renovations in that area. At 7:00 AM I could hear jackhammers being used two doors down. The beds would shake and you could not hear anything. This included Sunday's which the hotel stated they would not be doing. Additionally, the water in the shower starts out warm, turns ice cold, then eventually gets hot. It take at least 5 minutes to get hot and be able to use. As stated previously, the rest of the hotel is under repair and looks pretty bleak. I would definitely wait until the renovations are completed before thinking about making a reservation. Definitely not a Hilton quality type of hotel at this time.

Badly in need of refurbishment of the actual accommodation
Stayed here for a conference at the Convention Center in January. This has been my NAMM hotel of choice for many years, now. However, rather sadly, this hotel is going from bad to even worse, with every passing year. My room, a Junior Suite, had light fittings hanging part way out of the ceiling, a shower that was nothing much more than a lukewarm dribble, furniture in very poor state of repair, windows with large cracks in the glass, that rattle badly in the slightest gusts of wind. The wallpaper is something from the 70's. Ok, on to some positives. The food I ordered via room service was tasty, with good service and arrived quickly and was super fresh. The bed was large and comfortable. The housekeeping service was good. It's great to see that they are refurbishing parts of the hotel, with the work finished showing areas of the lobby and check-in desk that are already looking much fresher than they had done previously. The new decor in parts of the (unfinished) lobby show signs of progress towards a hopeful and brighter future, however the room floors, carpets, doors, and general quality of the rooms themselves are badly in need to refurbishment. This will likely be the last time I stay here until substantial work is done to improve the actual accomodation here. At the moment, it's simply not worth what they're charging for it - there are far better alternatives, one example is literally just over the road.

Close to the convention center. Otherwise, we had a bad experience. Nasty room.
I've stayed here many time over the past 30 years. It used to be a great hotel. Our stay this time was dismal. Our room was nasty. The hotel is undergoing renovations, so perhaps it will be better in the future. I am a Hilton Honors member, so stay at Hilton brands a lot. I prepaid, non-refundable to get the best rate. We found that the pool as closed and even the sundecks were closed so we had nowhere to go sit in the sun. Coming from Canada in the middle of winter, we really wanted to relax outside and enjoy the warmth. The website should have mentioned the closures before we had to commit to a non-refundable stay. The room we were assigned was not on par with any 3 star hotel I have stayed at. Gouges in the walls, bathroom door expanding from being water logged. Wallpaper peeling. The last renovation was clear done by lazy workers. We were much happier when we upgraded to the Cambria Hotel after a couple of days. Good: it is right beside the convention center if that matters to you. Otherwise, this hotel get a failing grade from me.
