Arrived early early morning. We book over 6 months in advance king bed. We were given 2 queens with one of queen bed sheets all torn up. Smelled like urine and bathroom not cleaned. Also no hot water for 3 days We have stayed at many 5 star resorts and this one fell far from a 5 star feel/stay. We went to front desk immediately and stayed we booked king, he said come back in morning. We did so, they said keep bags packed ready to go as the next day we will move. 3 days later finally moved to king, very inconvenient. During our stay there were many good staff but also some not very kind at all. We always tip well when on vacation and we did so here as well. The staff at some ala cartes, the gelato shop and one of the bars were rude and seemed like we were a damper to them. Regardless we are always kind, maybe they had a bad day. But honestly some of the staff just not nice. Overall love Jamaica def not this resort. My husband requested 3 times if could have something in the room as surprise fory day, they said yes yes yes and nothing. I been in customer service and this is unacceptable

Rooms were very comfortable and spacious. There are a number of restaurants on the property but the best by far was Grande Marche, where food and service were always reliable. There are a lot of activities for children and teens as the Vibe Team is enthusiastic and hard working. There could be more offered for more mature guests like games, movies and so on as it is an all inclusive resort. Where it did not meet expectations: some restaurants had poor service and limited food choices, laundry service was poor and at points disrespectful, guest queries were not always handled with patience and attention.

Jan 10, 2025A Trip of A Lifetime!! Yah Baby!!
We just got home yesterday- what a great experience at this Royalton Negril! We have the Diamond Club experience which I totally recommend. Our Butler George was excellent in every definition of the job. Reservations, walking us to meals and getting us gazebo’s. Every detail attended to, including having your drinks of choice at ocean side, delivering meals ocean side - doing all the clean up and ready to go to next event! We had 2 days outside the resort- 1 on a catamaran where we went to Rick’s cafe and second was swimming with the dolphins- both totally recommend! Our rooms were excellent with a bar and 2 TV’s and indoor and outdoor jacuzzis. What a delight. Both fridges stalked daily, treats delivered daily and room cleaned and perfectly prepared twice a day. A perfect support to our time to enjoy the sun, sunsets, beaches and water. Truly a great restful vacation! We felt like a million bucks living the life with ocean view, shows each night, sports bar to watch my Bills, Leafs, sometimes Raptors. Being “Totally “connected by our cells to George made everything better!! Played catch with grandkids in at least 4 different and fun locations! Great memories we made by all. Thanks Royalton Negril for a perfect vacation!

While the Royalton Negril has the potential to be a standout destination, it falls significantly short of delivering the five-star Autograph Collection experience it advertises. Our initial room had a persistent damp smell, which was incorrectly attributed to the air conditioning. The sofa was stained, and the bathroom clearly needed maintenance, such as resealing the bathtub and general upkeep. After much back-and-forth with the staff, we were moved to a different room, but it had no view and was only marginally better—apparently the last available option in the entire hotel. The hotel’s layout also leaves much to be desired. The lunch food truck is inconveniently located near the toilets, and the DJ setup lacks the vibrant and polished energy one would expect from a resort of this caliber. The most unpleasant issue, however, was the overpowering sewer smell near the beach. This significantly detracted from the enjoyment of an otherwise beautiful setting. Adding to the disappointment, our minibar and room toiletries went unreplenished during our three-night stay until we specifically requested them. This level of service is far from the attentive care expected of a five-star establishment. While most of the staff were friendly and welcoming, there were moments where professionalism and service etiquette were lacking. Overall, the Royalton Negril has the framework for a great resort but fails to meet the expectations of a luxury stay. With better maintenance, thoughtful layout adjustments, and improved service, it could become a true five-star destination. However, as it stands, I would not recommend staying here—even if it were free.

Yoga with Garrison
Sunset yoga was wonderful. Garrison was an amazing knowledgable instructor. Beautiful scenery to do yoga with ocean in background. Very peaceful as well. I Will be back for more yoga at the Royalton Autograph collection Hotel in Negril Jamaica
