Jan 10, 2025This Royalton des not deliver the experience you expect
Wish we had not opted to stay at Hudeaway rather than Blue water as we didn't realise that the rooms are small with tiny bathrooms rather than the junior suite option. We are now into our 5th day and have not had a decent evening meal. Last night was the worse at the Mexican option. We were booked for 8.15. Seated at 8.45 and by 10 pm still no main course. All we had was a bowl of cold soup. A table of 8 next to us actually went to the buffet and brought back plates of food. They also had no red wine available. During our stay several of the bars have not been able to serve a G&T as they had no.tonic. Last night they ran out of Tanqueray at 7.30 pm. They always seem to be short of something.

My sister and I went to the Hideaway by Blue waters it was awesome. The beach was great , the food was sumptuous, overall the staff were friendly. Mona Lisa who checked us in and ensure we had everything in our room, she checked on us the entire stay. Overall our stay was great we will definitely come again.

Terrible service with misleading title for the resort
This is not a adults only resort. It's co-located with a family resort named Royalton Bule Waters and shares the same restaurants, beach and pools. Only the rooms for Hideaway are adults only. The utility build besides the hotel buildings generates a high level noise (above 80 DB measured at my balcony) whole day around. When we complained about the noise with the service desk, we saw a cold face and we were told we have to pay 36 USD per person if we want to change to a room far away from the utility building. During our staying, we barely saw the smiles or greetings from the service people in the resort no matter at bars, pools or restaurants, very often been ignored or forgotten when asking for a drink or coffee at the buffet restaurant. My wife asked for a iron board in the last two days of stay with multiple phone calls and visits of the front desk. She was always told the iron board would be sent to the room in 30 minutes. Until we left the iron board was never delivered to us. The most discomforting thing was that we found the cockroaches in our room at the first night and reported to the front desk in the next morning with the noise issue, the front desk was very reluctant to switch us to another room. Soon we found the cockroaches in the new room. This was the worst vacation experience that we have ever had in Caribbean. The overall experience was terrible. We will no come to this resort again.

We have been here twice now and will return. This is a solid 4 star resort. While the appearance isn’t 5 star, we have to remember this is a very humid climate and it is hard to keep everything looking brand new at all times. This is a place of no worry mon, just be patient and relaxed as it is their culture. All staff are very friendly, we didn’t have an issue with anyone. Vashaun at the bar on the hideaway side is excellent. The New Year’s Eve party was great! So much planning went into it to make sure the guests had a great time. The beach is always perfect at this place. As for food. It’s resort food, but some of the better resort food we have had compared to other Caribbean islands we have visited. We will be back!

Our family had a great week!
Our family had a tremendous experience at the Hideaway Royalton Blue Waters! The Royalton knows how to throw a New Year's Eve Party! We had some wonderful meals at Dorado and Grazi! Mona-Lisa was our key contact and made everything seamless and smooth from beginning to the very end of our trip! Ricordo was top dog Butler, Kimberly made sure our cabana and room had all the necessities each day. Every day I went to visit Kevin at the Jerk Hut; he was so dedicated to providing the best lunchtime jerk chicken he could! Bianca was a lovely waitress and loved Daniel's aqua fit classes. Aleko from the vibe team was fun to play some volleyball with. Thanks to all for a great time!
