    Stay away from Harrahs

Ruth's Chris waiter was absolutely rude, ruined our trip by acting like it was too much trouble to honor Ruth's Chris gift cards I had. Made us wait for almost a half hour before I gave up, confronted him, and just had a horrible experience. I do intend to take this up with Ruth's Chris corporate. Room was more along the lines of a Motel 6. Found an overcharge on bill. Spoke to desk clerk. She tried to make me leave/give up by disappearing for a long time. Then assured me it would be taken care of. She lied. Charge still on my bill. I intend to also post on Facebook and Google.

    Do Not Recommend

I only stayed at this hotel for a conference—*not* by choice, and trust me, if I had any say, I would’ve stayed literally anywhere else. Where do I even start? First off, $18 water bottles in the room? *Be for real.* I made sure not to touch a single overpriced item, yet I was still charged for the water. Meanwhile, I had to settle for a $3 bottle of *Aquafina* from the vending machine—tragic. Then, the conference had a **“no outside food or drinks”** policy, which already felt ridiculous considering the building is packed with restaurants and coffee shops. But to make it worse, they **threatened attendees with a $100 fine** if caught with anything from outside—while simultaneously **not providing snacks or coffee on a regular basis**. Oh, and if that wasn’t creepy enough? They straight-up said they were **watching us on the cameras** to make sure we weren’t sneaking anything in. Seriously? I came for a conference, not surveillance. Now, let’s talk about the absolute *lack* of care for guests. I injured myself and asked for a simple bandage or some peroxide—something, *anything*—only to be told I could *walk to CVS* to get it myself. Excuse me?! Not only is that beyond inconsiderate, but I’m also pretty sure it’s **illegal** to operate without a first aid kit. As if that wasn’t enough, they gave me a room where the key card lock was **dead**. The level of incompetence is actually impressive. And the prices? Absolutely unhinged. **$14 for a medium Starbucks drink. $20.99 for mozzarella sticks.** (Admittedly, they were good, but *come on*.) They even charge for refrigerators and do not offer microwaves, literally a joke! Every single thing in this hotel is a money grab. They might as well start charging for oxygen while they’re at it. Between the overcharging, the lack of basic hospitality, and the **big-brother-style surveillance**, this place is a nightmare. Save your money and your sanity—*stay somewhere else.*

    Harrah's Stay in December 2024

Harrah's is gobsmacked in the middle of the Las Vegas strip. Very accessible and near to almost every place you want to visit and see. We stayed here in December 2024 for beauty pageant that my sister is competing on for a little over a week and we enjoyed it. It is not as fancy as the big and fancy hotels and casinos around but the place is decent, had good traffic, decent food choices and everything is within good walking distance.

    Harrahs getting worse

Harrahs getting worse 1000466659 Been staying at harrahs for the past 4-5 years and intially it was a good experience, so we continued to book at harrahs. Unfortunately, it’s gone down hill from there. This last trip was the last straw. With the exorbitant resort fees you would think you’d get something. No coffee pot, no fridge, and we requested toilet paper one evening, called down to the desk and they said they would send some up. It never showed up. The next morning, I went to the check in and a guy proceeded to be very rude, telling me to back away from the desk. I told him we simply needed toilet paper that we requested the day before. He kept saying to back away from the desk. After a few minutes of being polite and being told to back away over and over, I decided nice wasn’t the right approach anymore. Finally he said he would go look in the back to see if they had some.. This “gentleman” wasn’t busy and I simply approached the desk he was at. Apparently he didn’t get his snickers for breakfast…sorry harrahs but we’ll be seeking other accommodations in the future

    Perfect location

Perfect location in the heart of the Las Vegas strip. Walkable to many restaurants and attractions and also a stop on the Monorail line. The employees were friendly and helpful. I marked it down a star because the rooms don't have a mini-fridge in them, which I consider a must.
