    The Strip is Way Overpriced

    I always like Harrahs but honestly the strip as a whole has lost its appeal if you go to gamble or have any kind of budget. Food and booze are crazy expensive, high minimum bets, tight slots, 000 roulette, 6/5 BJ……it goes on. Go off strip and have way better odds at winning.

    First time stay at Harrah's

    First time staying here and it is a good hotel for the price. Rooms are cozy and the beds are comfortable. I did not like the half open shower but I would say other than that no other complaints. Staff is very friendly and eager to assist when needed. I also like that I never felt as though I was waiting forever for an elevator one was always available quickly.

    Not the best!

    Got there early and was told I’d have to pay an early check on fee which was not a problem! Then they charged me $50. So beware! Rooms are run down! Outlets don’t work, hook broken in bathroom. Carpets dirty! I had to iron in the bathroom since it was the only outlet that worked!

    Dirty room!!

    The shower was filthy. Had gunk on walls and floor shower. After notifying front desk, they supposedly sent someone to clean, it was not cleaned. In addition, nightstand and lamps were super dusty as in not cleaned in months. Notified the front desk, they did nothing. Took a managers card at checkout to send email when arriving home.

    Pleasant stay in February

    We arrived around 9 pm and were happy to see a short check in line. We were directed to a kiosk and thankfully our reservation made through a third party showed up in the machine so check in was painless. We had a two double bed room in the mountain tower overlooking the pool. The room wasn’t “nice” but it wasn’t at all bad wither. Beds were comfy and room was clean. Only issue with the room was the glass half shower door. At the end of a shower there was water all over the floor. Toilet flushing is also very loud and we could hear it from other rooms. The room also overlooked carnival court so we could hear the faint sound of music which was masked with some ear plugs. Room was otherwise completely adequate for the time we spent in it. No issues with hotel. Nice big casino and good location for walking around. We were there for the February 13 rainfall and there were some leaky spots in the roof in the casino that they had put garbages or buckets under. If you are looking for cheaper food or coffee in the morning, go to McDonald’s next door. Overall pleasant stay. Would stay again if price is right.
