    Hotel needs upgrade

Hotel is very clean but worn. I think it's due for an upgrade. Room starting to get that musty smell. Restaurants extremely over priced. Steak and Shake $19.00 for a burger, fries and a soft drink. Breakfast, standard Bacon, Eggs, Potato, One Piece of Toast Coffee and Juice with tip was over $30.00. Casino, very small and very smoky. Even the non smoking area smelled of stale smoke.

    Over priced hotel room

Not sure what makes this a $300.00+ a night room. I did not get anything except an average 3 star room that was not very well maintained. I have stayed in better rooms for $100.00 a night. If the casino is why the room cost so much then I would have expected something like a voucher/credit to use in the casino.

    Needs updating

Hotel is way overdue for renovation. Room was clean, but very dated. Think Holiday Inn 1990s. Food selections were adequate, but best restaurant was closed the night we stayed (Super Bowl Sunday). Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Plenty of free parking. Beau Rivage is much nicer.

    Weed weed everywhere

It's a lively ride into the dark and creepy garage. The smell of Marijuana reeks into your vehicle before you get to the 2nd floor of the parking garage. It's trashy and filthy. Welcome to Harrahs weed coast. Don't smoke weed? To bad. Marijuana is not legal in Mississippi ( only medical Marijuana). Harrahs does not care. Now let's check in..the desk clerk was similar to a Android. No real issue but it would be nice to have a human say hello. Now for the room.. it was clean 5 stars to the housekeeping crew. The bed was comfortable. The furniture is really beat up and in need of replacement. The curtains were old and shabby. The carpet was very nasty and gross. Bring slippers and socks to walk in the carpet in the room. Since Eldorado acquired this property it's been downhill like an Olympic skier. I also want to give fellow travelers a heads up on Magnolia House. Great service, horrible food. Oysters were butchered and absolutely no flavor. Steak was ok(for$59) however, no flavor at all. Best thing about dinner was eating dinner with my other half. It shows as a 5☆ restaurant but it's not. Several people were there only because TV they had a $100 reward dinner. I can completely understand why Kelly English took him name off the restaurant. In summary, smoke weed..5 ☆, want service on the casino floor 1☆,clean room1☆. It's peculiar how every answer cone from "Ryan Bennett ". Whether it's Harrahs Gulf Coast or Ceasars palace, Ryan Bennett responds. Just like the hotel high end restaurant, hotel rooms and casino is all a disappointment. I must give a cudos to one person, Her name is Conselo. Another shot out to Shaynie. Both were assets to the company.

    Rundown, dirty, smelly room

Room is run down, dirty and smells. Carpet stained and coming up. Furniture beat-up. Staff friendly. Nice fitness center. I called to see if they had an newly remodeled rooms - no - would not come back without knowing a complete refurb of the rooms had been done. Pretty gross.
