Harrahs Getaway
Ceasars junket
My friend and I traveled here from Augusta on an offer. We were very pleased with our room and even though we did not have room service we were able to request fresh towels and coffee when needed. We ate at a couple of the restaurants and our food was very good. After reading some of the past reviews I thought we stayed at a different place.
We commend the staff who organized our trip as it was very well organized and it really surprised us. We did have a glitz at the airport when leaving, but that was not harrahs fault.
I was to go on a trip to Laughlin and got to airport and it was canceled. I sure was worried that this would happen again but fortunately it didn’t.
Thanks Harrahs for a nice accommodation and trip even though the slots were stingy.

Horrible choice, so many other options
We picked this hotel purely by availability and costs on a quick trip down to visit family. From check in to check out it was amazingly disappointing and honestly for the most part just disgusting. Picture a movie taking place in a run down, sleazy, in need of renovations hotel….. that’s it, now you know what it’s like to stay there. Left just feeling dirty. Most nights we were back early from visiting family and would go over to the “other” hotels to eat and gamble and take in the sights…. Then drag ourselves back to sleep. The room was just old and smelled musty, was just gross. With the many options in town, you don’t have to stay here.

Great Stay..AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE!
I was traveling on business from Montana and had difficulty with my card working. The customer service here is unreal! They helped problem solve on how we could work around and comped my room for the second night!
Traveling so far away from home is stressful & the kindness that was shown touched my heart and we will be back! I recommend the restaurants and the casino. It was a great time , very clean and the bed was so comfy! Thanks for a great stay from a weary traveler. It felt like a home away from home. Thank you!

Recent Trip Thanksgiving
This hotel need renovation. They don't clean well. Towels were limited. Carpet dirty, windows dirty, smells with lots of refresher in carpet. No room service. Beds are nice and clean. Shower curtains were clean and bathroom was. There are far better choices. My room was comp but I won't stay there again, I rather pay for a little more modern and cleanliness.

So dated and old
Room layout was lovely but sooo old and dated. Carpet stained everywhere. Casino equally old, machines very tight, hard to get service from cocktail waitress (guess one had a medical emergency & there was no replacement available. NO PLACE TO EAT mush of the day, Starbucks closes at 2:00 and many aren't open during the week. Ended up surving on Steak & Shake - not want you'd expect at a Harrah's Casino.
