Great midwinter break-recommend it to anyone!

Lovely resort with great amenities, good food, and outstanding beach. We have been here before and will return. We were blessed to have the attention of. Jessy and Kevoy as our personal butlers during our stay; they were outstanding. Always on the spot to assist with any activities we might want to participate in, such as dinner reservations, etc.

    Honeymoon 2025

Very good service, great views, great food. My only thing that happened, is I had a balcony chair break. I told housekeeping and the front desk about it. It was never replaced. Other than that, the trip, was amazing, and I would definitely come back!

    Family Vacation well deserved!

When we arrived at the HR we were met by Kevoy our butler! He was amazing always attentive and on point! I traveled with my children and had an amazing vacation! We had a street view room which wasn't has bad as I thought since we always get ocean view! The pool was renovated to my surprise! Played volleyball everyday entertainment staff could of been a little more involved but overall decent! I was surprised about the new coffee shop which is a great idea but I do think it should be more staffed and menu should be in plain view ! It gets really busy! I am never disappointed with the resort !! My favorite over all of the HR!

Hard Rock Hotel Cancun - Sibs-cation January 2025

Sibs-cation - Cancun 2025 January 2025 - staff very helpful and accommodating - special shoutout to Kevoy and Jessy (and Denise) as well as Carlos for breakfast and some lunches. - food was overall good (some better than others, but always something to eat) we've had better food at other resorts, but really similar as far as hit/miss options - ocean was a beautiful aqua blue (we only put our feet in) - walking along the ocean was good if it was low tide; very narrow at higher tide - pool was lovely -- a little chilly at first, but great to do water fitness - the activity sheet included a Beatles tribute but it was something else instead. A little disappointing as we like the Beatles, but the musician was still good - exercise/aqua classes were nothing special, but ok (not many people attended - entertainment was mixed -- we went to 3 shows: Michael Jackson (very good); Coldplay (good but very loud); Queen (not as good as we hoped -- very loud, and not the best lead singer). - Room was comfy once we figured out all the lights - Some wear and tear on items in the room but not a deal breaker - Drinks -- overall good; didn't drink too many alcoholic ones but the ones we had were good; great latte; cappuccino was too foamy; no decaf coffee available in the p.m.; sometimes difficult to get any kind of coffee at dinner at the restaurants - Biggest Disappointment: The Cafe -- understocked; sometimes understaffed; some unusual and not very tasty desserts; NO COOKIES (or very few cookies -- no basic chocolate chip cookies!). The set up was not good, and no one seemed to understand that. There was no cream near the reg/decaf coffee carafes; then there was no coffee in those carafes and not refilled either. Other Hard Rock resorts had better "Cafe" choices and better set ups. - Other Disappointment: they need to learn how to make oatmeal (not so watery) or give us the option of making it ourselves with water or milk. - Music was too loud outside at the pool; we went to Ava for a day pass, and the music was at a much better sound level - Really enjoyed the solo musician especially outdoors -- his Queen songs were better than the Queen show in the amphitheater. - Best part of the vacation was spending time with our siblings and getting away from the cold weather.

    The perfect getaway

My husband and I visited here for a couple days getaway. We had previously visited on a day pass 12 years ago before the name changed to hard rock on a day pass. The resort was just what we needed. It was not extensively huge which allowed a lot of intimacy. They are a lot of quiet areas and I like the idea that if you wanted to get something to eat, it was available 24 seven the grounds were very clean. Check-in was a breeze check out, however, was a bit problematic because they wanted you to check out to give you the final sales pitch. Other than having pushy sales people on the grounds. The property is really nice with lively entertainment at night. Well kept grounds, Room service was available 24 hours we had an huge oven front room with jet tub. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
