    Simply amazing and so relaxing

This trip was a work trip of mine but we were blessed to be able to bring a guest to share this amazing resort with. I have zero complaints. Jorge was our concierge and he answered every single question we had in a timely manner. He recommended things for us to do each day that we may have not known about. David was our tour guide to snorkel off the catamaran. We leaned so much about sailing and the daily life of those who live in Mexico. I got sea sick briefly and he made me feel comfortable and we shared many laughs. Victoria and Carmen were a huge help in the boutiques. They helped me price what I needed and help me find some very special gifts for my family back home. Every restaurant we went to was a different cultural cuisine but one thing was always the same and that was the awesome staff. They helped us understand what we were ordering and helped us decide a delectable menu for our palate. Never thought I’d try beef tongue but it was by far one of the best things we tried that we had never had before. The poolside and beach staff were also top notch. Speedy, attentive, and so friendly. I can’t forget the spa. Simply breathtaking. Camilla was so good and relieved so much tension I didn’t even know I was carrying. The water ceremony is a must! I’m blessed to work for a company that allowed us this relaxing and beautiful experience. The staff that coordinated our meeting with all the tech and sound were very helpful as well. We can’t wait to return.

Best All Inclusive we have stayed at

Most relaxing vacation we ever took! Great accommodations, food and service were top notch. Our favorite server on the beach was Daniel. Our favorite server each morning at breakfast was Antonio. If you get there, make sure to eat at Bistro on Surf & Turf evening

    Grand Velas is just wonderful

This was my first stay at Grand Velas and, needless to say, it won’t be the last. My family and I absolutely loved it. The service was outstanding. The food was great. And the hotel and amenities were superb. It definitely doesn’t feel like a typical all inclusive. It goes beyond that. The staff was so kind and amenable. It was truly a pleasure to stay there. If you’re thinking about this hotel, and you love a great 5 star hotel, I would 100% recommend it. Also, the concierge staff went above and beyond. My only thing is if you’re looking for like a party vibe, this is definitely not the hotel for it. The bars are great though. It is just a great tranquil resort. Great for couples, friends, and the whole family!

If you're an all-inclusive skeptic, this place WILL NOT change your mind.

I generally stay away from all-inclusives. Food is generally bad. The facilities are too large to feel like a unique or authentic experience. But I heard somewhere that this resort is one of the best, if not the best all-inclusive in the world. 😐 This resort does have some exceptional food experiences, but absolutely everything else is what you'd expect an all-inclusive to be. Full stop.

    Fabulous resort with excellent staff

We had a wonderful experience at the Grand Velas - we're a family of four with two teenage boys and there were tons of activities for everyone. The food was outstanding and plentiful. We also had memorable interactions with some great staff there: Victor - Azul breakfast Susana and Nicolas - activities Gustavo - Zen pool Marbella, Dani, Abraham - Chaka dinner Jessica - our concierge Julio - Piaf All of them made our experience better. We will be back!
