**Hotel Review: Strongly Not Recommended for International Guests**
I regret to inform potential guests, particularly international travelers, that this establishment falls critically short of acceptable hospitality standards. Below is a detailed account of our experience: **1. Service & Hospitality:** Upon arrival at 6:00 PM, the check-in process took an unreasonable 35 minutes, with no apology for the delay. Staff demonstrated a lack of consideration for international guests, further emphasized by the impersonal requirement to wear wristbands. When we inquired about the twin beds in our room (contrary to our booking request), reception staff dismissed the issue, suggesting we "push the beds together ourselves." Such unprofessionalism reflects systemic training deficiencies. **2. Accommodation Standards:** The room’s condition was unacceptable. Notable issues included: - **Hygiene Failures:** Stained cups, residual trash from prior occupants, and **bloodstained bedsheets** that remained unchanged despite two formal requests. - **Maintenance Neglect:** Air conditioning vents clogged with dirt (necessitating manual cleaning by guests) and bathroom facilities in an unsanitary, neglected state. **3. Dining Experience:** With the exception of the Italian restaurant (which offered passable pizza, albeit incongruously), all dining options were subpar. The quality of food across other venues was inedible by international standards. **4. Facilities & Activities:** The advertised "activities" centered on an overcrowded garden pool. Securing a sunbed required arrival by 7:30 AM, yet 70% remained unoccupied but "reserved" with towels—a policy the hotel failed to regulate. Furthermore, the pool’s impractical design made swimming unfeasible. **5. Security & Connectivity:** The hotel’s open-access policy allowed non-guests to wander premises unchecked, raising safety concerns. Additionally, rooms lacked reliable WiFi and GSM signals, severely limiting communication. **6. Positives:** The property’s sole redeeming qualities were its scenic views and adequate soundproofing. **Final Remarks:** This hotel operates far below industry standards, with critical failures in hygiene, guest service, and management oversight. We departed two days early to relocate to alternative accommodations. Until radical improvements are made—particularly in staff training, cleanliness protocols, and facility maintenance—I strongly advise international travelers to avoid this property.

Excellent
Excellent I would recommend Anyone to stay at the resort the food is tasty , the staff are friendly, if the opportunity happens it would go back. It is easy to get a taxi to go downtown.which is plenty to see and lots of shopping.

The Best of the best
The experience that I received as a guest of this hotel was fantastic. I want to congratulate the employees who served us with all their dedication in the VIP section, the waiter Oscar Misael and a special recommendation to Mrs. Monse who despite her seriousness is a wonderful person and an excellent cook. You guys don't go up to her, you're making a mistake. She has incredible seasoning

Relaxing Get-Away at Grand Park Royal
My husband, daughter, and I spent seven days at the Grand Park Royal in Puerto Vallarta, staying in two premium suites—one for us and another for our 20-year-old daughter. The buffet restaurant offered a plentiful and varied selection. We always found something delicious, and the attentive staff made sure our needs were met. The resort has three à la carte restaurants—Mexican, Italian, and Seafood. We usually dined around 7:00–7:30 PM, and while the Mexican and Italian restaurants had occasional 20-30 minute waits, we didn’t mind. There’s a cozy bar by the hostess stand where we enjoyed drinks and chatted with other guests while waiting. The service was efficient, and the food was fantastic. The Seafood restaurant, only open for breakfast & lunch, was particularly impressive. I recommend trying it at least once, but be prepared—people start lining up around 1:00 PM for the 1:30 PM lunch opening. Our premium suite on the 11th floor offered amazing views and access to the exclusive Ekinox rooftop area for adults 18+. This rooftop area is a gem, with premium drinks, food options, loungers, sun umbrellas, and shaded cabanas. The suite itself was very comfortable with a king-size bed, a spacious walk-in shower with shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel dispensers, and ample closet and shelf space. We also had a large screen TV, a desk, and comfortable seating. Housekeeping ensured our room was always fresh, tidying up between noon and 3:00 PM each day. The only thing I wished for was more places to hang towels or wet bathing suits in the bathroom. The resort has two pools with loungers and cabanas, but they fill up early. Many guests claim spots by leaving towels, books, or sunscreen. There are signs against this practice, but the rule isn’t enforced, so if you want a lounger, get there early—by 8:00 AM, spots are gone. As for the beach, the sand is clean, but no loungers are available. The vendors on the beach are polite and not pushy. The waves vary throughout the day, ranging from calm to large and rough, affecting swimming conditions. One downside is the resort’s location, about a 20-minute drive (200-300 pesos) from the Malecon Boardwalk and Puerto Magico port. The airport is about 30 minutes away. The sun also doesn’t hit the pools or balconies until the afternoon, making it difficult for morning sunbathers. However, the rooftop area provides sun all day long, with plenty of shade available.
