    Average resort, good with friends

Stairs and elevation changes. I know it’s in other reviews but people need to know it’s no joke. No chair service at the adult pool which I have never seen before. Switched to main pool and Erika hooked us up and we always had drinks. Food was passable but I don’t eat anything overly adventurous. International steak and salad bar was very good. Japanese was disappointing if you have been to a good one in the past. This is a typical 4 star that if you lower your standards and not go looking for things to complain about, you will have a good time. You are not at a TRS facility. If you need that then book that and don’t complain. Last point is we didn’t not get more than the original 3 bottles of water in our room. I left $100 in the mini bar for four days and took that home with me the day I left.

    FUN

Lighting on the stairs is poor at night , ALOT of stairs to climb for older folks . Our air-conditioning broke 2 times in the room , the 2nd time they said we will be right back and 3 hours later still wasn't fixed, they finally came and fixed it after I called and complained.

Still a crown jewel in Punta de Mita

Just returned from a fabulous 1 week vacation from Grand Palladium. Their Guest to Family logo is just that, the staff went over the top to help us celebrate our 30 yrs anniversary. We cannot be more happy to have been back to see our friends and enjoy the picturesque setting and service this resort has to offer. We give a special shout out Mabel & Alba Reception Managers who welcomed us back again and fulfilled all our requests and were more than attentive to any concerns we had. There have been some noticeable cut backs in the resort in terms of programming and cosmetic repairs but the one thing that hasn't changed is their passion for service to guests the Palladium staff offers. The food was delicious at all restaurants and as mentioned and any issue (1 only) was brought to the attention of the food service manager at the restaurant who was gracious and rectified the problem. Housekeeping did a great job in providing any request we had for extra bath towels, pillows and of course keeping our room tidy despite all the sand we dragged in from the beach. The beach bar servers Antonio and Manuel were amazing and do an incredible job at keeping guests well hydrated. The evening shows although we did not see many after a long day in the sun the one I most enjoyed was the Viva Mexico show. It was lovely to infuse the heritage of the country into the show. I only wish they would have a bit more of the Mexican flavor in terms of entertainment during the day, ie a Mariachi band. Of course we enjoyed watching the whales breaching and tail slap. Its one of the many highlights. I can only hope that we will return to see you all again sooner than later xoxoxo
