    The most dishonest staff I have ever encountered

    We were lied to by the manager of the Grand Palladium Punta Cana. She did not seem to care that it affected three young children under the age of one years old. Do not stay here. Integrity matters.

    NEVER TO RETURN

    Staff make you fill out a survey, then try to take your phone and give themselves a 5 star rating.... and push you to send it... they can't even speak with you as they don't know any English. Room had hole in ceiling with plaster falling on the tub, next room.. no hair dryer, tv remote or no hot water in shower. ...so we had to sit in room while their service guy watched a youtube video on how to replace the part.... we booked through sunwing... the rep at the resort was terrible to deal with and when transfer information was required, we could never find her... she wouldn't even take our number or give us a number to call so we could find out when we our ride to airport was coming. terrible!!!

    Fabulous holiday

    We arrived on Sunday 9th February from the moment we arrived we were welcomed and made to feel special. All the staff have been amazing, friendly and helpful. The food is great huge selection and great themes. Have to mention Stephanie at the TRS restaurant who is a diamond and also Michael Bautista. We have 5 days left of our holiday. I wish it was more.

    Epic failure as a resort goes.

    There are no words for how awful this resort was. Difficulty getting restaurant reservations, food poisoning 2nd night at Boghaliz, wine bar accessible only if you have dinner there. For an all inclusive there were limited wines available in the restaurants. You had to buy a bottle.. 4th night in after dinner we were enjoying a glass of wine and the mngmt staff came and told us we had 3-5 minutes to leave. There was no one at the door waiting to get in. Another restaurant mngmt came over asked if we had google and asked for us to bring jt up then took our phone and put in a fake review. The cleaning staff yells up and down the hall no quiet mornings. Maintenance was singing loudly every morning up and down hallway. The bathroom has a soaker tub you have to step into for shower. Not a fan as it is a deep tub. This was not a relaxing vacation and we will not be back. We usually stay at Hyatt Zilara but our daughter found this deal on line. Well you get what you pay for. Roberto the pool bar was great as was our waiter in the sports bar and grill.

    DO NOT BOOK!!!

    Absolutely horrendous. Put in the wrong room, damp in the room and we have two kids. Family members had to be moved due to BLACK MOULD in their room, covering an entire wall that had just been wall papered over. We were meant to have a family room with two double beds, once we got put into the wrong room (not told this at check in) it was once we got to the room that we realised, they then told us they had none of the rooms that we had paid for available. Safe didn’t work, it’s had to be fixed twice. The lights in the bathroom also didn’t work. Don’t think we’ve ever been somewhere that’s had to have a maintenance man out every two days and a place that is swarming with maintenance men. They’re constantly trying to fix many problems. But everything is at a point that it doesn’t even reach below par. Power cuts. Door chain broken twice. Cockroach in the room. We didn’t have the drinks replaced in the room, so instead of doing it in the day, someone tried coming into our room at 10pm to do it!!! Thank god we had the finally fixed chain lock on. The mini fridge was never stocked properly and especially when you’ve paid for all inclusive it should be. Dirty towels and bedding. No tissues. No bed for our two year old and no cot for baby. Sofa bed turned out with no quilt or pillow, we rang reception four times and got told someone was coming with stuff so our two year old could go to bed, but they arrived 3pm the next day. My husband had also been to reception during this time and still nothing. At 9pm after a long flight he was obviously exhausted. The food is quite frankly vile in most of the restaurants They make people sign NDAs on checkout to quote ‘save their reputation’. When have you ever had to sign an NDA??? We refused to sign the NDA, so they refused our late check out after saying we could previously have it. Stuff sticking out in the bath and the bath is certainly not child friendly. The restaurant booking system doesn’t even exist and it’s a free for all, absolute nightmare. Berated by staff about check out tickets when we weren’t given any!!! Quite literally aggressively harassed by staff whilst with our two children. Extremely interesting point, throughout our time there you could NEVER get hold of anyone, but as we were attempting to leave we got swarmed by staff and it’s like checking out of a jail.
