Gorgeous property but LOUD
We were here Monday through Friday. Every night there was loud music, either from the bar/restaurant area or another event. On Thursday night there was an event in the courtyard that blasted music until 1am and we could hear it through our noise canceling headphones and a white noise machine. I think if you were here with an event, it wouldn't bother you because you'd be part of the noise. But if you are here on your own, prepare to be disturbed. It is a shame because the property itself and the rooms are very nice. But we won't stay here again.

Business Trip on Resort
Recently stayed at the Hyatt in Scottsdale for a conference in November 2024. It sounds like they just recently finished some major renovations to the hotel. The small convenience store was still closed for renovations and there were no vending machines, and there was one fire alarm test in the afternoon which didn't last long. The rooms were big and clean, and the property was very nice and upscale. The beds were a little firm and pillows very soft but slept well. They had a large TV screen with the ability to cast onto which made it nice to stream shows. The pool for adults and kids looked huge with many other activities for the kids. I was not able to check out the spa or tennis courts. There is a bridge to the golf course right behind the hotel if you plan on playing golf. There are two sections of rooms on either end of the property. My room was right at the beginning of the hallway so I could hear the lobby pretty well with the music but it did stop at 10:00pm. I did not eat at any of the restaurants onsite. The location was close to a small shopping complex with a few restaurants and grocery store. If you want to hike you will need to either have a car or take an taxi to the location. All staff were very friendly and professional.

Outside event's music was so loud we couldn't enjoy the room.
We had a mountain view room facing the courtyard where an event was going on Thursday night from 5-10 pm. The DJ's music was SO loud with the base turned up so high that we could not take a nap as we had planned or even stay in the room. We had to leave the grounds for hours to get some peace. When we spoke to the front desk about it, they said that security asked them to turn it down, but they were at an acceptable decibel so there was nothing they could do. I was furious that I spent $600/night to be subjected to that offensive noise. It felt like I was in a very loud night club with booming noise. I would not stay there again. Aside from that, everyone who worked there was nice and the room was clean.

Not Ready for Prime Time
Let me start with the positives. The resort was beautiful, staff friendly and the spa was amazing. However, I was told when I booked that the construction inside the hotel was complete. It is not. They were jack hammering on our floor by the elevators, cement/ construction trucks driving down the sidewalks in front of our patio, fire alarms with instructions to evacuate going off after 10pm and numerous times through the day. Only one restaurant open. The other two still closed along with the coffee shop and market. No food or beverage available in spa yet. Toilet was not working properly throughout our stay even after 2 maintenance visits. Once the renovations are complete, it will be amazing. It was just a lot to deal with during our stay and very disruptive.

Not Worth It
Terrible service and poor management. The renovation is beautiful, but not worth the money for the experience. For a luxury hotel, the service was very poor and not worth the price tag. It was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had in all of my travels. I can not recommend this hotel.
