Mar 24, 2025Great service and a beautiful resort
This place was amazing. A beautiful resort with great employees. I would say what sets it apart from other all inclusive resorts we have stayed at is the service. Every single employee is great. But I do have to say the best service we could’ve asked for came from the Vela restaurant from Norma and Cesar. Norma was such an amazing server and person. She took time to learn our names and offered to make us a cappuccino daily. We also loved our pool side service we received from Jose! He returned to our cabana very often for our drink orders and also went above and beyond to answer any questions we had about the resort. Norma and Cesar and Jose were great and can’t wait to return to see them! The food at the steakhouse was our least favorite. We spend $300 to upgrade to ribeyes and lobster and it was all terrible. That is the only reason for my 4 star rating instead of 5.

Spent eight nights here to celebrate my birthday and from start to finish it was an incredible experience. Juan was amazing pre-arrival in making sure we had what we needed for our stay and arranging a special romantic dinner on the beach for my birthday. Our room was an Enclave Governor's Suite and it was amazing. Bedroom, living room, 2 bathrooms and a HUGE wraparound balcony. Bed was very comfortable. Great views of the ocean and sunsets. The Enclave experience was also wonderful. Private check-in and check-out without having to wait in line. The concierges were able to make our dinner reservations well in advance of the 26 hours allowed on the app. Eduardo and all the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. It was nice to go up there each morning for breakfast away from the hustle and watch the whales go buy. Special shoutout to Jorge who made the whole experience wonderful!! And him surprising us the final night with a birthday desert and small gift was such a sweet touch! We would come back just to see him again! The pool was nice - we aren't big sun folks and it was nice to be able to find some areas that stayed somewhat shaded most of the day. They rules say no reserving of chairs, but that rule is very well followed. Get down there by 8 or 9 and reserve your spot if you are picky. If you aren't too concerned, there always seemed to be chairs available. A couple of days we rented cabanas which were relatively inexpensive (about $60/day) and saved us the hassle of getting down there early to secure our spots. Wait staff around the pool was friendly and attentive. Ernesto was great and always knew when I needed my next beer! The food trucks were a nice touch but the burger one tended to get backed up and it took awhile - easier to order from the pool waiters if a burger is what you are looking for. We ate at the steak house, Mexican, Italian and Aisian restaurants. All had good food and service. For some reason, the Italian restaurant only had one option for house red wine (all the others had two) and we were not a fan so we had to buy a bottle in order to enjoy wine with dinner there. The highlight of our dining was definitely the private beach dinner. Hector was an incredible waiter, touch us a lot of spanish and was right there when the sun set to make sure he got some great pictures to remember the experience. It cost extra but it was definitely worth it! All in all it was a relaxing and incredible eight days. This was our first time here and we can't wait to come back. Good Times, Great Folks!
Great food and drinks. Fun and relaxing atmosphere. Ocean front property. But what makes this place the best is its staff! The wait staff is amazing!! Shout out to our breakfast staff at Velas - Norma & Medrardo are incredible! They get to know you and pay attention; they will have you spoiled in no time! At the pool, make sure to find Alfredo’s section; he will take care of you all day long! Our favorite dinner dining experience is a tie - La Luce and Sunan. At La Luce, Edgar was fantastic and so friendly. And Rodrigo’s pizza is killer!! Lastly, Brayan created the perfect experience for us at Sunan. The fitness and entertainment crews are also excellent. And shout out to Oscar at the bar lobby! These folks are here busting it 6 days a week, and I am telling you, they are what makes this resort a success! Make sure to show them some love too!

Top notch service
This was our second visit to the Hilton Vallarta Riviera and won’t be our last. The ocean view was spectacular. The rooms clean and comfortable and the food very good. The real high point of our stay, as before, was the service. All of the staff, from the check- in desk to room service were friendly, helpful, and accommodating. A special shoutout to Christian and Danial at pool side service as well as Esmeralda and Isela at the Vella food hall. Staff members like these will bring us back.

Amazing Trip
Amazing trip and property. Marco, Jonathan, and Arturo are the best! Would definitely come again. The entire hotel has wonderful service and a beautiful location. The dolphin and ATV excursions were phenomenal and I would recommend them to anyone .
