Apr 18, 2025Ok, not relaxing for couples
Hilton Vallarta was a nice property, the views were beautiful. The rooms were clean & comfortable. As a couple w/o children we wouldn't stay here again. This resort would be better for a large family from toddlers to elderly but not ideal for us. Pools are limited and small & full of children, we didn't use the pools as they closed too early for night swimming for adults only. Also the food was very bland- we are not picky eaters but besides breakfast with a fresh omelette bar we were disappointed, not a lot of fresh fruit, dry desserts etc. Drinks were good & staff were kind. All inclusive was not worth it for us, we preferred to go out and explore the town. Puerto Vallarta is so beautiful & safe, we will return and rent a condo or an apartment in the future vs a resort.

Friendly staff, great food, clean facilities, and perfect spot. Hilton Riviera is located in a perfect spot for a break. Quality of food is great for all inclusive and staff is extremely friendly. Better than Cancun if looking for quality, service, and coziness in place of variety.

Great Time
I expect a lot out of Hilton and they did not disappoint. The staff was excellent. Special thanks to Celeste, concierge. She was very helpful many times that I reached out. Also to Kelia, waitress. What a delight she was to interact with. Hotel is a little dated but fine. One nice addition would be to give Diamond members access to the Enclave Lounge.

The hotel was very clean and beautiful. The lobby was inviting with everyone smiling. Yadira, Blanca and Hugo were magnificent. They did the entertainment along the pool. They had a variety of activities to do. Which were all enjoyable. Hugo had quite the sense of humor. They were always smiling. Always said how to you. Omar and Diego looked after us with food and drinks. Our drinks were never empty. Must try a pineapple margarita! Gilberto is a gem. He took care of us in the Mojito bar. He makes the best chocotini. He looked after us and was always smiling. Has a beautiful smile. On that note, the mojoto bar was closed the last 2 days of our holiday. A big company rented the whole hotel. We were very disappointed. The bar was open for the big party that rented the hotel. We paid for our holiday too. We had no notice or were told the time of booking. It was like we didn't matter. The housekeeping was not good at all. We left a tip, asked for a few things. She took the tip but didn't do anything. We had to ask for body lotion and body gel. They were empty. Had to ask for more towels. They didn't leave any clean hand towels or face clothes. When talking to them in the hallway, no smiles. Food was very good. I have an allergy to seafood. They give you a red ribbon bracelet. Not sure why. Going to the restaurants, they ask you food allergies. I asked what some food was in the buffet, no one really knew. Not all dishes are labeled. The servers are very nice and attentive. All in all, very nice experience

Spectacular in one word for experience
We dined at La Luce. Esteban and Ernesto were absolutely spectacular. The food was the best we ever ate. The cleanliness and atmosphere were top notch. Esteban and Ernesto deserve praise for being so professional kind caring and being attentive. Please acknowledge these servers. Also , having a severe allergy to garlic… the kitchen chef and staff addressed it and I was able to enjoy a delicious dinner. Thank you!!! I hug you all with my heart. I recommend this restaurant without hesitation. Very warm regards always. Rita Jessiman
