    Traveling with kids

    We traveled with family as group of 9 ( 5 adults, 4 kids) . This was our first time in this hotel , and reading reviews we were expecting kids friendly resort, unfortunately it's not. I would recommend this hotel more for young couples who likes to party, because there's nothing else to do here except of going to the city for a walk in the evening, Coco-bongo is in walking distance. Buffet had very poor selection of food, ( again, if you traveling with kids and expecting french fries, hot dogs and simple kids food- forget it) On several occasions fresh salsa salad was spoiled ( i'd assume it was mixed with salad from previous night) and brisket that supposed to be melting in your mouth was RAW, and i mean with blood and bright pink in it. If you looking forward to aqua aerobics or any other morning activities at the pool or beach - they only have couple and with music that will make you fall asleep. Activities only advertised on 1 screen in the lobby that constantly changing and you can't read it ( although app is available) and night entertainment more for older audience ( piano, live music) they had silent disco during the week, which we enjoyed. We went to couple restaurants: STEAKHOUSE was the best ! Amazing food and service. Absolutely recommend! NAH KAAX- beautiful atmosphere, DJ and cool vibes- food- meh, wasn't impressed at all. HIBACHI was pretty good- Vitalino was a good performer and cook. Good service. Their ice cream is to kill for! Like a lot of reviews saying- hotel is outdated, but kept clean, however AC is barely working, it was VERY hot in our room. Beach was small but clean with white soft sand. Also, piece of advice, wait until last minute to check out, they cut your bracelet and while you continue sitting in the lobby waiting for your transportation staff will be watching you making sure you don't go anywhere else. This is the first hotel when they cut our bracelet while we were still there. Hotel is about 30 minutes from the airport , which is kinda cool you think, but then all activities like Xel-ha is over and hour from there. If you like to go out to eat and clubbing, then this place is for you, we unfortunately won't be coming back.

    Luxury comfort

    The room was spotless and presented very nicely with everything you would need to make your stay easy... The beds were huge and comfortable, mini bar and snack draw refilled every day, lovely toiletries and a bath with a shower over it... coffee machine... fridge.. beautiful balcony witha view of the pools and sea... buffets for miles and excellent restaurants.

    Tor restaurant

    Vitalino put on a great and entertaining performance with lots of laughs! the hibachi food was very tasty and it did not take a long time for the chef to come out once we had sat down. Would definitely recommend making a reservation at the Tor restaurant, it is a guaranteed good time!

    Chianti restaurant

    Excellent service at Chianti restaurant. Pablo was a great server, very respectful and very friendly and helpful. Two nights we try out this restaurant and Pablo was our server both nights and he demonstrates professionalism and great service both nights.

    Birthday Celebeation

    I had an excellent time having Hibachi with Vitalino. I do wish they had more options on sale included with the package. The beach is clear, and the water is fantastic without any seaweed. Love the send It is my daughter’s birthday celebration. I wish there had been more effort to decorate the room and do something special for her.
