The resort was just okay for the price. The drinks were not good, I think out of the whole stay I got one decent margarita the rest I couldn’t taste the alcohol even after asking for a double. Not sure if they watered them down. The pools heater was broken the first two days, once repaired we could finally get in the water. But then it felt like bath water after the 3rd day. The food was not great, you would either have to go to the buffet or make reservations at Luna if there was an opening. It would be great if they had a snack bar set up by the pool with like a nacho cheese bar, and other options which would be convenient like we have seen at other resorts. The waiters/waitress were very good at both the buffet and Luna restaurant. Alejandro at the adult pool bar was very nice, also the young guy, I don’t remember his name, at the bar by the entertainment stage. The bell boy, Karin was so helpful and pleasant and he assisted us with showing us our room and setting the AC up. The maids were always so friendly and greeted us anytime we passed them in the hallways. You don’t get washcloth’s in the room, so you would have to call the reception desk to ask for a face washcloth. The rooms were a little outdated, the shower tile was chipping off. The mini fridge was not stocked like we have had at other all inclusive resorts. You were lucky to get two water bottles in the room. Had to ask for extra coffee and water if I didn’t get the room cleaned. On a positive side was the bed was firm so we slept well, it was low key so if you needed rest and relaxation it fit into that category. The reception staff didn’t seem very happy when approaching the desk, just as the other reviews mentioned. I was disappointed about not being able to not swim in the ocean at the resort because it was too dangerous. I guess I should have researched that before booking. We traveled to Medano beach by Uber so we could swim. Then we found another beach 10 minutes away by Uber La Palmilla Beach, family friendly and was safe to swim.

100% recommended this place. Great team. Joana and Alondra makes the experience fun with their activities. Chino, has the best personality. This place is perfect to either have fun or relax. Great place when you come to the bar ask for el chino.

Perfect little resort in a perfect location.
We just spent a wonderful week there. We were put on the third floor overlooking the evening entertainment area. Nice private little balcony with a little view of the ocean. Great wifi, never without hot water, bar fridge and safe, and we always felt safe. Daily meals were always a new theme (Italian, Mexican, seafood night, etc.) Luna restaurant was open at 11:00 and had a great selection of lunch items. Luna also opened at night for dinner reservations, vs. the buffet. Drinks were always cold and delicious at all 3 bars. The location of this resort couldn’t be better. You can walk into town and enjoy the little markets, or down the beach for miles. There’s a big supermarket across the street too where you can get anything you may have forgotten. It’s perfect! The staff here go over and above to treat you like royalty. Juan at the lobby bar was our first greeter. Amazing guy! All the staff at the pool restaurant, Julio, Daniel, Beatrice - thank you! Luna at night had us spoiled by Elias. All the buffet staff, Oscar, Elizabeth, Ramiro, Sergio - thank you. Always greeted by Angela before our meal, who is an amazing hostess. Chino at the entertainment bar stirs up a mean mojito! And of course, Diego and Jesus at the pool bar were awesome, as well as the young lady who I forgot to get her name. I wasn’t able to remember anymore names, but I know I could go on. Oh ya, the two young men that take care of you coming and going, as well as the front desk staff. ALL AMAZING!!!! 10/10++++ Thank you SO MUCH for all your hard working amazing staff who made our trip a perfect little getaway.

Worse experience ever!!! Rooms need upgrading, unless we got the worse one. Food: Horrible and tasteless! We ate the twice for dinner only and breakfast was the same everyday. Drinks at the pool and restaurant tasted like fruit or syrup juice. No alcohol!! Service by staff: Could improve drastically! And they don’t tell their guest that you can’t flush the toilet! They have a picture showing that you can’t flush paper down the toilet, but the picture looks like a tampon. They don’t come out and tell you, until your toilet is clogged! All soiled toilet paper goes into the garbage and they don’t even clean the garbage on a daily basis. Worse part no room service or food to order in the evenings or at the pool. One restaurant only that turns into a fancy, have to make reservations for evenings to eat the same tasteless food! I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS “NOT all-inclusive hotel to anyone but then locals!

This Is Not a 4 Star Resort
The food at the Luna restaurant and the buffet was not appetizing. Food temperature was never hot, it was consistently barely warm at best. The food preparation was consistently pureed for most of the meals, and was not seasoned or spicy. Very bland boring tasting food. Our room on several days was without hot water to shower. We complained several times but the staff ignored our complaints. The beach surf was unsafe to swim because of daily severe undercurrent/riptides. The room was not comfortable and was decorated with only one picture. It served a basic function for sleeping only. The staff was very friendly, but did not go out of their way to help their guests. The nightly entertainment was adequate at best, it was of very low quality. We do not recommend this resort for these reasons and will not return. This resort is rated as a 4 star, but as stated above, it rates no better than a 2 star at best.
