Great time at Princess Bavaro!
Service was very good! Francia, Jhoermi and Yamilht at the buffet were so lovely and thoughtful with our kids!! We had the best week!!! The beach is fantastic. The Family Club is awesome for families. Beach toys, slippers, reusable cups are supplied. It was awesome!

Wonderful Resort
This is the first time travelling alone. I felt completely safe at this resort. I have stayed there before but with friends. Always have stayed in the platinum section. If anyone is on the fence about the extra money for this section believe me it is worth it. Was brought to the platinum section for check in and was greated by Danny and Hector. Such wonderful young men and very helpful. Had a bite to eat and off to my room which was beautiful. I ate breakfast lunch and sometimes dinner in the platinum buffet. The hostess Tais always had such a beautiful smile and was very helpful. I always tried to stay in Jose Antoine area as he remembered me and always had a cup of coffee waiting for me as I got my breakfast. Went to all the speciality restaurants. No complaints about any of them. Now let’s talk about the beach. It was heavenly. Men were out very early with their machines to clean anything that had washed ashore. The lounge chairs are very comfortable. The waiter/bartender Sammy was always around when you wanted something to drink. Very polite young man. I can’t forget Lowery, she was the lady that came around and asked if you wanted a foot massage. She did an amazing job. They have not seen the last of me.

Came on NYE, left in the beginning of January
While we appreciated certain aspects of our stay, there are some areas that require significant improvement, particularly in the service at the à la carte restaurants and maid service. Wasabi restaurant: unfortunately, the server forgot to bring my order. While the rest of the family received their meals, mine was completely overlooked. Additionally, the server struggled with understanding English, which made communication challenging. Italian restaurant: the food was excellent, but communication was an issue. The servers had difficulty understanding English and we had to explain our requests to three different staff members. Mexican restaurant: our first visit was enjoyable, which encouraged us to return, but the second experience was a major disappointment. First, only one soup was brought out when we had ordered two. Then, we ordered two ribeye steaks ($35 each) from the paid menu, clearly pointing them out and requesting medium rare for both. Instead, we were served two T-bone steaks ($55 each), both well-done. After this mistake, we decided not to remind the server about the missing soup and left for the main buffet for dessert. Improving English communication skills among staff would greatly enhance the guest experience. Maid service: the housekeeping also left much to be desired. Towels were often not replaced, even when we placed the used ones on the floor to signal they needed to be changed. Despite leaving tips in rooms 3203 and 3204, clean towels were not provided and overall cleaning was minimal - beds were made, but little else. This service needs considerable improvement. We hope these suggestions are taken into account to enhance future guest experiences.

José - best barman at the Platinum pool bar Grand Princess Bávaro
Shout out to the best bar tender at the Grand Princess Bávaro, Punta Cana. José at the Platinum pool bar. He can make any cocktail and was always ready to mix smoothies for our kids and help with any requests we had. What a fantastic bar man…. I wanted to bring him back with us. Some of the servers didn’t look like they were happy to be there. But Jose chatted and gave us lots of tips and help.
