Ridiculous high prices for drinks and food, but very nice hotel and casino

The hotel is very good. The casino does a nice job of mitigating the smoker's smoke from being over powering. I would rate FountainBleau higher, but the prices at the restaurants and bars are just stupidly high, even by Vegas standards. If they would drop the food and bar prices, it would easily the best hotel / casino on the Strip, but at this time, it's just a money grab.

If the staff pronounce it Fountain Blue, then its Fountain Blue

We liked the hotel overall. However, there were a few issues. First, we specifically asked for a quiet room and instead our room was very loud and we could clearly hear our neighbors next door as if they were in the room with us. Upon checking out, we were able to speak with the same employee that checked us in and told her we requested a quiet room but instead it was actually quite loud. She told us we should have asked for a room that could not be adjoined rather than asking for a quiet room. This was a rude response and we have never had this experience during any of our several stays in Vegas. This did not give us a good feeling about staying at this resort again for our next Vegas vacation. Also, we booked a Gold King Strip Best View room thinking it had a deep soaking tub. Since it did not, we switched at check-in to a queen room and were told we would be on a higher floor and other than losing the king bed, we were not downgrading. This was not the case. Despite being on a higher floor, we had a mountain view and not the strip view or room size we paid for. This definitely took away from a post Valentine's Day romantic getaway and felt like we didn't get our money's worth. We also paid for late check-out however Housekeeping was not informed and came by our room twice on our last day. The restaurants and bars we visited were amazing however, there were some places that we would have loved to try but seemed they were always closed. Azul Bar in the lobby was never open past 11p during our stay. We made attempts to visit 2x nights in a row and they had just closed both times. This was disappointing as we specifically researched this bar and made a plan to visit while on our trip. This was also the case with Vida, which had just closed when we visited on our last day in town. Bar Ito did not have similar hours to other restaurants in the Promenade so we were not able to try them either. Please bring back the crepes at Chez Bon Bon or at least to another restaurant onsite. Having crepes during our Vegas vacation is a tradition we were not able to enjoy this time because there was no where on property to get one and we did not have the time to go all the way to Paris. Having some of the same options as other resorts further down strip may attract more customers to the area instead of only Vegas veterans like us that don't need to be center strip. The $25 for 2025 casino reward was also hard to use. We wasted a lot of time trying to find a machine that would except the free credits which became more annoying than anything. We enjoyed Lapis Spa but wished it wasn't so busy on a Monday afternoon. Our experience could have been better if some of the coed sauna rooms were a little bigger and if there were signs encouraging guests to be quiet. Also wish that there were more allergy free options at the restaurants onsite. If there was at least one meal at every restaurant that was both vegetarian and gluten free, we would have never left the property. We did not visit Don's Prime or Papi Steak because they were not able to accommodate these dietary restrictions. The only pool that was open was crowded and I'm glad we didn't waste time going to the pool since we likely would not have enjoyed it. Please consider opening one of the larger pools on busy days or at least not obstruct the view to the larger, prettier pools in order to tempt customers like us to return during normal pool season. On a positive note, we loved the staff and our experiences at No Where Lounge, Roadside Taco, Nona's, La Fontaine, and Miami Slice. We would have went to No Where Lounge 3x nights in a row instead of just 2x if they were open later. Even the Bell Desk and Security staffs were excellent and each experience made us like the property even more. Not sure if we would book another stay at this resort given the problems with the room, but we may stop by one of the restaurants/bars or to visit the beautiful property if back on that end of the strip.

    Fontain-Fabulous

What a beautiful hotel!! We had amazing Valentine’s Day celebration! We arrived and were greeted with warm welcomes and smiling faces!! Since we used Amex platinum we were invited to the poodle room, which is absolutely breathtaking!!! We then had the most amazing experience at ITO where we had access to a private bar and an intimate omakase overlooking the amazing Vegas lights!! We had spa treatments at the Lapis spa which was again amazing, my only recommendation is to make sure you bring swim suits as you can not enjoy the entire experience without them!! We then went to the Colin’s bar which again was lovely, and then Papi steakhouse a lively great show starter!! I look forward to returning in the summer to enjoy the pool vibe as again it looks amazing!!!

    Stunning

Absolutely beautiful, never too crowded, great food hall with the most delicious everything bagel I've ever indulged in (2 days in a row). Great casino with the best rewards program we found during our stay. Great customer service, very clean, fresh and new.

    Not recommended!

Well the stay was supposed to be a family celebration of my 70th birthday and our 40th Anniversary. When I called ahead to check parking I was told that the van was too high and we would have to use the valet to park at the hotel next door. When we arrived the valet said parking was not available and my son had to find parking elsewhere, which he found at Circus-Circus. No ride was offered.. At the front desk we were assigned to RM 847 and our party of 5 went to the room for a short celebration. The key would not open the door, so I called the front desk, and was told that there was likely a bad battery on the door and someone would be sent. No one came. Twenty minutes later I called again, and again was told that someone would be sent. No one came. Ten minutes later I walked back down to the front desk to try in person. Meanwhile a staff member came to let the group in with his pass key, which (for the reason we had already discussed with the front desk) would not work . Then we waited for maintenance, who tried to jimmy the door but was unsuccessful. Now, an hour later, our dinner reservations were lost, we are still sitting on the floor in the hallway. Our luggage could not be delivered because we did not have a room. I then made ANOTHER trip to the front desk to be offered a similar room (1047). We had to lug all the luggage ourselves two floors up. All the front desk was willing to do to compensate was $100 in room credits (about 4 drinks). Because of the hour we were forced to eat burritos and fast food and a drink each at the hotel. That was about $260, and the front desk would not even allow that amount to be comped. Finally, to add insult to injury, the manager would not allow us a shuttle to get us to our vehicle, telling us to call Uber! So we had to carry all our luggage through traffic back to Circus-Circus. I have traveled all over the world, and the service offered by Fontaine Blue was the worst I have experienced
