This was our first visit and we will definitely be back. I felt I had to write because I was worried prior to going because of some of the reviews. We loved everything about the Fiesta Americana! The staff is amazing from check-in to getting a taxi back to the airport. I wish I could remember everyone's name, but I remember Nacho, Raphael, Sergio and JJ. The hostess with the short hair was one of the sweetest and friendliest I have met. We upgraded to the Fiesta Club. The view from our room was amazing. Bed was very comfortable. The food was great. Loved breakfast especially the quesadilla station. We loved spending each morning eating on the veranda. Saw so many whales! We loved sitting on the pool Island for dinners at the Italian restaurant and the food was amazing. We loved the Mexican restaurant too. The snack bar was great as was the Sonne menu. Staff was happy to modify things for my vegetarian diet. We loved spending mornings on the beach and afternoons at the Sonne Club and the Infinity Pool. My only recommendation is to give a list of restaurants and fiesta club amenities and check-in. We were told but an info sheet would have helped.

Going Back
We stayed 7 nights, had a great time! Very nice property and location, but like others in the area, getting alittle dated. Currently construction going on for a new restaurant which will be welcome. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Housekeeping was top-notch everyday. Pool is clean and warm, many lounge chairs. Beach area also has many lounge chairs. Not much for after dinner activities, hotel bar is open late with lots of tvs and some good live music. Good daily breakfast buffet, snack bar has burgers, ect, all afternoon. Wifi was spotty for us, can't speak for others. Recommended!

This was our first visit to Fiesta Americana with our toddler, overall our experience was very positive. The breakfast buffet was consistent and staff were very attentive- on several occasions we arrived and Gume had our regular table set up with a high chair ready and waiting for us. Danae was also noteworthy in her hospitality, allowing us to order off-menu items when we needed toddler friendly options at dinner time when there wasn’t a buffet option. The construction by the pool was quite loud and unpleasant at times but we did our best to ignore it. We also found the music blasting at the pool until late into the evening to be a nuisance… bring earplugs if you are hoping to nap or go to sleep before midnight! The food surpassed expectations- we ate at all 3 restaurants for dinner and didn’t have any major complaints. Lunch buffet/grill was hit and miss, overall fine. It’s an all inclusive- you’re not here for gourmet dining! Rooms were clean and spacious with well stocked mini fridge and plenty of bottled water. Great little resort for couples or young adults, I think next time we will try a hotel geared more towards younger families!

Family time is a great time
A great family experience! Always something to do for everyone! The staff was so very accommodating to us and every day was a new adventure for our 7 day stay. Lots to do, lots to explore in and out of the resort. Thank you to the wonderful staff for all you did to make this such a memorable experience!

Great stay
Carlos, Andres and Pedro were the most amazing staff at the resort! They went above and beyond to take care of us while we spent all day at the pool. The Birria tacos are amazingly delicious! Make sure you order an iceberg beer and mini beers from Carlos and Andres. Will definitely be staying here aging because of Carlos and Andres and Pedro!
