Travel hotel
As a travel agent I look for extras my clients would like this hotel hit all the spots, Phoenix on the front desk was so amazing and helpful, a pool and hot tub, cookies at 7, and a great breakfast, they even upgraded our room it was big and had a couch, fridge and microwave, I would only ask for a harder bed and pillows), the hotel is in a quiet area, you do hear traffic but other than that no issues, will definately recommend and stay here again, thank you

unsafe place to stay unless you want to be robbed inside the hotel
I was ambushed by 2 homeless people inside their front door when I came back to the hotel after finishing night shift at the hospital. The front desk staff on duty Phoenix did not answer the phone call for help for over one hour, I had to call police because the intruders were roaming around inside the hotel without being stopped, he never inquired about my safety and proceeded to complain about being bothered, when I reported his behavior to management, I was told that he is an experienced staffer, no one else to replace him, so I have to tolerate his mistreatment!

Easy in. Easy Out.
Excellent property incredible staff. Fantastic experience! This hotel is conveniently located near downtown Spokane. Plenty of nearby places to eat, play or just relax. No issues with this property whatsoever.

Not a bad hotel for the price
I arrived mistakenly thinking I booked something actually downtown like in a hip area but was like - this is a normal roadside kinda Fairfield, and the hotel outside and in the halls looks dated as are the bathrooms (and one elevator?!) but it was clean, and the breakfast surprisingly had a lot of options.

Noisiest night ever
This is a difficult one to rate because, in a nutshell, the hotel is fine but the neighbourhood isn’t. We stayed for one night in a suite while visiting Spokane on vacation in the area. Starting off with the positives, parking is plentiful (avoid the bays for Perkins next door, which seemed to be clearly marked), and the hotel is a short walk from downtown and Riverfront Park which is what appealed to us. Our suite was a good size and clean, although a bit dark and I’m not a fan of the rough cast ceilings. Bed and sitting area were comfortable and had everything we needed. Unfortunately this hotel is in a terrible neighbourhood. Felt safe enough by day but after dark absolute carnage unfolds making any prospect of sleep near impossible. Very loud street racing all night on Division Street that the local police don’t seem to have gotten a grip on, and unsavoury groups gathering in the car park late at night that were clearly not hotel guests. There were signs of broken car windows in adjacent streets suggesting a crime problem, although we had no issues. I had to use my noise cancelling ear buds to sleep above the racket from outside, which was less than comfortable. However, it’s more a policing issue than the fault of the hotel. Breakfast was included and was quite adequate, although we were late after a poor night and almost felt we were in the way of staff who were congregating in the breakfast area. I’m a Marriott man but might try the Hilton DoubleTree next time.
