Not what I expected
The hotel is nice and rooms were spacious. Our rooms weren’t ready at check in which was 4:00. Once we got in our rooms they were dirty and no clean towels were left. There was feces on the toilet seat and hair all over the bathroom countertop. We reserved 3 rooms and the front seat could not get our key cards to work and once they tried to fix them they voided our key cards to one room and activated them to another room. Good things we were all traveling together so we get back to our rooms. This is a Hilton hotel but the standards were not up to par. If you book this hotel, I hope your experience is better and they can fix these issues.

Stanley, The Shining Star Server
Our server, Stanley, in the restaurant was AMAZING! He is the reason we ate dinner there 4 of our 5 nights. He was very friendly and completely on point with service...providing service before we even asked. He is a shining star and should definitely be celebrated! Please share with him that he always made us smile and made a impression that we will carry forever! Friends from South Carolina.

Doesn’t meet Hilton Standards
The hotel has a modern, stylish design and is in a very convenient location. The check-in process using the Hilton app was seamless — I was able to access my room without stopping at the front desk, which helped avoid a long line. However, several aspects of the stay fell far below expectations, especially for a Hilton property. Room Issues: My room was on the 15th floor, and there was a constant mechanical vibration and noise throughout the day and night, which made it difficult to relax or sleep. The bathroom toilet flush was so loud and scary made loud sounds every time water was used, often waking me multiple times during the night. The air vent in the bathroom also didn’t seem to work properly. The pullout couch was extremely uncomfortable — the metal bar in the middle pressed directly across the lower back area, making it nearly impossible to sleep on. The pillows were unusually thick and cheap-feeling, not up to the standards I’ve come to expect from Hilton. Breakfast Experience: The breakfast area was chaotic and overcrowded. There were limited options, and the quality was disappointing. It took over 15 minutes just to order an omelette. The scrambled eggs were extremely watered down, and odd ingredients had been added, seemingly to cut costs. Pool Area: The pool, advertised as heated, was not — the water was freezing and had a milky white appearance, suggesting poor maintenance. No towels were available, and when guests asked for them, an older staff member responded with a rude attitude and clearly hates his job. The valet service was unreachable — when trying to call for the car they charge 75 plus, the call was redirected to a non-working number. I received a text asking for feedback, which I provided, and was told someone would follow up with a call, but that never happened. One particularly alarming safety concern was at the front entrance. The sidewalk has broken and uneven tiles towards NY Avenue , and I witnessed an elderly woman trip and fall due to a step that was about two inches lower than the others. This area definitely needs urgent attention. In summary, while the location and design of the hotel are impressive, the service, comfort, and maintenance fall short of Hilton standards. I hope management addresses these issues soon.

Great
We had a wonderful stay at Embassy Suites by Hilton Washington DC Convention Center. The breakfast was excellent, and we especially appreciated the made-to-order omelets – such a nice touch! The evening reception with complimentary drinks and snacks for guests was also a highlight and made our evenings very enjoyable. The room and hotel overall were exceptionally clean, and we were very satisfied with the housekeeping service. Instead of using the hotel’s valet parking, we opted for a nearby parking garage just one block away, which was very convenient. The only downside of our stay was the valet service. The valet staff were quite rude and refused to let us briefly park in front of the hotel since we were not using their parking. We even spoke with the hotel manager about it. It was an unfortunate experience that felt out of place for a hotel of this quality. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay and would happily return, but we hope the valet service improves in the future.

Nice hotel
Nirina did a nice welcome. And the hotel is clean and suits very spacious. Free breakfast and snacks. The suit have 2 tvs with sofa and desk. The white house is only at 20 minutes walk and museum area too. A few restaurants and malls are in the area
