    Room was dirty

Decided just to stay one night downtown to see what it was like, the check in clerk was not too friendly asked to speak to a casino host, none around, got to the room, it was basic and not cleaned properly found someone's shoe under the chair when I moved the chair, only gave two towels for two people, the casino was fun, good drink service and the Gold Room was also good, ate at Blues Pub and the food and server were excellent, maybe next time will try the Silverlegacy as the rooms at Eldorado were not good.

    Don’t pay to upgrade

They should be embarrassed to call the players suite an upgrade. I had zero view, just a giant 1990’s jacuzzi tub in bedroom, with a toilet that required you to be a gymnast to maneuver around the door. I don’t think the room has been updated since 1992 - horrible.

    Nice budget room

Nice room....craps crews were very friendly. Staff was helpful. Not much outside dining or recreation around The Row. Must have a car. The Row as a whole was very depressing and dismal....maybe because of the lousy weather. Old Carson City Mint/Nevada State Museum was an interesting tour for a coin collector.

    We won’t stay here again

We were charged an 89$ “resort fee” at check in that was unexpected and not listed on the initial reservation. We didn’t have a choice given that we found out at check in, so we took the room. The resort fee was supposed to cover the two pools and gym. The pools were both closed for the season. Our room was incredible small, and the last room on the 8th floor (right next to the fire exit). It felt like a utility room because it was so small, nothing like the pictures. The view was awful, the tops of dirty dusty cement roofs. The curtains did not close all the way so the morning sunlight was hard to keep out so we woke up earlier than we wanted. We were given very small amounts of creamer for the coffee so called to ask for more and it took 40minutes. We also asked for “extra extra” creamer for the two of us and we received 3 tiny creamers. The hotel is centrally located though, which was nice. It was also excessively expensive, almost $300 a night with the resort fee…
