    Not a complaint

Nice rooms. Softest sheets and comforter. Everything quite clean from the bathroom to the bedroom and even the hallways. Quiet, couldn't hear anything in the room even the halls seemed quiet. And the rooms are quite convenient to casino. Had a great trip.

    Dirty coffee maker

The staff overall were friendly and helpful. The room was not up to my standards when it came to overall cleanliness. When I went to use the coffee maker, I checked to make sure it was clean and in the water tank there was food in it. I called down and was supposed to get a replacement which never happened. Also be aware that they have a closing mechanism on the hinges for the doors so you will hear doors slamming all night. Overall mediocre hotel and experience.

El Dorado is a scam and charged me an additional $144.00 after I paid the complete balance on a Spa Suite

I reserved a King Spa Suite at the El Dorado Reno for $95.00 on thier website and of course the total came to about $170.00 after resort scam fees and texes. When I arrived at the hotel they demanded an additional $144.00 by CREDIT CARD ONLY and NO CASH or you are a total LOSER and like a homeless person. Where did this additional $144.00 come from? I'll be asking in court soon! They would not take cash, a credit card over the phone or any other form of payment and I spent six hours or until 3:30AM attempting to move funds from my multiple trading and investment accounts to my debit accounts without success since it was Sunday night. I still have a charge for the COMPLETE room, taxes, and resort fee charged when I booked the room that day online. They should have helped me out by taking cash for whatever this $144.00 was for and assume it is deposit or additional resort SCAM FEES!!! No heart or compassion or business or emotional intelligence and bought themselves a pissed off traveler. Amen!

    Horrible all around

Ride desk people, refused to honor my king rsvtn that I had in writing. Had back to back reservations and had to check out and check back in even though I called ahead and was assured this works not happen. But as Christina at the front desk so bluntly put it " she is NOT responsible for anything a coworker told me in error, essentially rejecting any and all accountability. Then we had to move rooms because the safe was broken the heater was stuck at 92 degrees and our plugs feel out of the broken sockets. Since we were not allowed to leave the room when locksmith was there at one point we had the electrician, the HVAC repair, housekeeping and locksmith all on our room and we couldn't move until they left. I have NEVER felt that unconformable in my life. And tokick it off not ONE SINGLE EE ever made a single apology. Oh and room service is auto grat plus $15 delivery fee. There is literally not a single reason not to stay at any other hotel within a block of here. Worst experience ever and e are frequent travelers.
