Dreams Vista Cancun March 2025
I had originally booked a weeks vacation in Punta Cana but decided in January to change it. When I looked for availability for the week that I was vacationing, there wasn't much available as it was March break for some place. I choose Dreams Vista Spa & Golf Resort from reviews that I had read. Hotel style resorts are not for me. I prefer resorts that are laid out. The food wasn't the best with limited options when travelling with a baby. Most times it was cold. A lot of seafood options and I don't eat seafood. The pool was freezing, there was no heat to it at all. The rooms were great. They were clean and comfortable.

Relaxing family vacation
This was our first visit to this resort as a family of 3. We have travelled every winter to different all inclusive resorts throughout the Caribbean. We booked the Preferred Club Ocean view room. Pros: - Food quality and selection was the best we’ve ever had - No reservations needed for restaurants - No towel cards needed - Large room and bathroom - Staff very friendly and attentive - Room view was amazing - 30 min to airport - Small quiet resort for families Cons: - Very windy some days. The wind affects the temperature and umbrella use. It was also loud at night with wind howling - Pool not heated - Small beach We enjoyed the preferred club vista prime restaurant and lounge but not sure if it was worth it because we couldn’t experience anything else with our daughter being under 13.

Avoid This “Luxury” Scam – Major Disappointment
We stayed for six nights in mid-March 2025, expecting a high-end, all-inclusive experience. What we got was a frustrating, subpar resort riddled with problems. The worst offense? A disgusting sewage smell that drifts toward the ocean when the wind blows. Absolutely revolting. Poolside? Forget about it. At 10:30 AM, we stopped at three towel stations—all empty. Staff casually told us to wait 20 minutes for more towels. How does a “luxury” resort run out of towels before noon? Want to relax on the beach? Good luck. There are only 8 lounges available for general guests, while 37 are reserved for “preferred members.” If you’re not “preferred,” you’re stuck scrambling—or pretending to be one just to get a seat. And even if you do, the beach is narrow, covered in seaweed, and constantly being cleared by workers. The food? Absolutely unacceptable. One night, the buffet served a catering tray of raw chicken. Another night, the “themed” party featured grilled meats that were burnt beyond recognition—after a 30-minute wait. Want a dinner reservation? Think again. Only one of the eight restaurants accepts reservations, and you can only book same-day, between 3-5 PM, via the app. Staff can’t even assist. If you’re not waiting at a restaurant’s doors right at 6 PM, prepare for a 30-45 minute wait. Oh, and the dress code is a joke. My husband was told he couldn’t wear a tank top to breakfast because of “dress code rules,” yet women can walk around in see-through cover-ups. What kind of arbitrary nonsense is that? Bottom line: This resort is all about appearances, but the reality is mismanagement, poor service, and a total disregard for guest experience. The only saving grace? The staff—polite, hardworking, and doing their best despite the resort’s failures. Save your money. This place is a complete letdown.

Awesome vacation in the sun with food, fitness, and family.
The variety of food was amazing, the atmosphere welcoming and the overall experience fantastic. Alvin and Dania were fantastic and took care of everything. Drinks were constantly coming and they also were so very personable. The yoga instructor the palapa with @erickamontantafitness was incredible. She catered the workouts to the needs of those in the class and her passion and energy were undeniable.
