Feb 02, 2025An incredible vacation!
For context, my 9 year old daughter and I travelled alone to Mexico and Dreams Sapphire. It was our first time in Mexico and not the last. Our stay at Dreams Sapphire was hands down, the best and safest vacation we have ever had. (having also been to Cuba and Jamaica). This resort is impeccable. The attention to detail is like nothing I've ever experienced while travelling. The resort and rooms are so clean and well cared for. The bed was insanely comfortable and the linens and towels abundant. Anything you wanted, you got and fast. The food was incredible and so abundant with options for all palettes. My daughter really enjoyed Revive - the fresh juice, snack and sorbet bar. She also loved the baked goods and muffins and breakfast was our favourite meal of the day :) The staff at this resort are so friendly and welcoming. Every where we went it was 'Ola Ivy' or 'Ola Sparkles'. As a single parent, I cannot explain how wonderful it was for us to feel so welcomed. The ladies in the kids club were unreal and I cannot stress enough how amazing this resort is for kids. The daily activities far exceeded our expectations - from bungee jumping to rifle shooting, bouncy castles, movie nights, crafts and cooking with the resort chef - there was no lack of fun for my daughter. Not to mention the water slides! SO FUN. Nothing is far away here so getting from one spot to the next was no issue. Our first day, we were sitting at the kids pool and a waiter came up and took a drink order and I nearly died with shock. This level of service was not what I was expecting. Huge shout out to all the entertainment team and especially Hannia for playing with Ivy so much. I've owned several businesses myself and employed many people and the one thing I notice when frequenting another business is how happy the staff are. It says a lot about the work culture and management of an establishment and is something I respect greatly. I did not come across one unhappy employee at this resort. You could feel the positivity and comradery of the staff and it really added to our overall experience greatly. Thank you so much Dreams Sapphire team. We will see you all again! xo Tara & Ivy. Feb 01, 2025Nice Hotel, but not the Beach...
Overall we really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The Service was good. Staff was very nice and attentive. The service at Coco Cafe was amazing and coffee was good. But I would like to mention some downsides that we didn't like. First Gala Dinners that were 3 times a week, where you had to sit at the table with strangers and it was really croweded and the variety of food was not the same as in the regular buffet Dinners. Another thing restaurants. In 2 weeks we didn't get to try any. Since all the restaurants first come first serve, it was always was booked up and with the little kid we couldn't wait for a long time, so we just gave up the idea to dine there.. The last downside is the beach. If you come for the Ocean and beach, this place is not for you. It was always full of sea weed and the water was dirty with plastic and other garbage, not pleasant at all. The sea weed was awful, it was not really cleaned and the water was not clear. I got stung several times by a jelly fish. Was not very pleasant experience. With all that, we still enjoyed and had nice vacation.

Amazing experience
The staff here has been absolutely amazing. Specifically hector, basillo, Dyana and Alfredo. I would definitely recommend this resort & particularly the premium package where you have access to the roof top bar. Has not disappointed at all.

Superb.
Great resort had a fantastic week. Entertainment staff were very warm and inviting especially Mar, Tony and Joe. Entertainment staff got us involved in many activities for a load of fun. Pool servers were great especially Felix who made sure we were well taken care of. Overall a great week.

Amazing stay!
Alfredo was amazing. He made my birthday very special! Great server and singer! Hibachi was delicious. Thank you for the night. Overall the stay was amazing. Other restaurants were good as well. Beach was good. Not rocky and enjoyable. Swim up room is recommended. Very happy with our stay.
