The ultimate question to answer is, would you go back at the price you paid, the answer is NO. This is NOWHERE near a 5 stars it would barely make it to 4. The main buffet is very small. The damn AC is dripping all over the place, buffet, lobby, bars, etc... the hotel is worn down... I'm all up for reusable glasses as long as they get cleaned properly and this part was just truly disgusting... they dont clean them, they quickly plunge them in a big pot of water or let them soak for a while then pick them up shake the excess (dirty) water and make you a drink.... The no Bracelet thing is more annoying than anything, they stop and ask EVERYONE for their room number and verify it when you enter the buffet, imagine the un-necessary line up it creates... same for beach towels or they even randomly stop you and ask you to confirm your room number... never had any issue with beach towel cards and bracelet before.... The beach is truly beautiful thou... The staff are super friendly and super helpfull but our housekeeping was terrible.... I will not go back... even if it is half the price I paid.

Okay hotel
A nice hotel and nothing really wrong with it but it’s not a big sprawling property as I think of with other all-inclusives and the entertainment is something that could be improved. Food was amazing though for an all inclusive. Also unfortunately the preferred is 100% not worth the money.

My girlfriend and I had an amazing week staying at The Dreams Sands Cancun. The beach is nice, the rooms are nice, and there are plenty of activities to do. Additionally, the food was good and the wide selection of food options is nice because I wouldn't want to eat from the same menu every day. Every single member of the staff we encountered were very friendly and professional. Russell, Aurelio, and Antonio from the bars, Enrique from the waiting staff, and our room attendant Dolce were all amazing. The entertainment crew was fun and lively and good at getting people involved and having fun.

Beach is amazing. Service is very good especially Victor and Sergio. Food is good. Overall it was a high quality resort. Where it lost points for us is the fire alarms going off in the middle of the night more frequently than they should have (without know fires) and too many dripping ceilings that should have been fixed. These things can (and hopefully) will get fixed.

Sands
Overall nice resort to stay at! The resort could use updates but the restaurant food was great, servers very kind. Beaches were stunning and well kept! Entertainment at night could be better but overall enjoyed our week stay at Dreams Sands!!
