Shocking time. Food was awful myself and all my family got so sick . Our room was bad the smell coming from the bathroom was over whelming the cupboards didn’t shut, the outside whirlpool leaked and the side was hanging off had to butt a chair up to stop it falling . The table in the room was cheap chipboard so rough my grandson cut his leg on the jagged edges. Bedside lights were filthy and hanging off . Black mould on the toilet wall which the cleaner just sprayed bleach on. Our key card failed but because the system was down we couldn’t get in our room unless we went to reception for a porter to unlock it the whole holiday was a total disaster if your thinking of going think again it’s not what it’s hyped up to be.

We had an amazing time at Dreams Onyx. We came for our wedding and couldn’t be more happy with everything. The staff was great and very attentive, the rooms were clean and the waterpark/lazy river was fun! Our whole group (of 50) was happy with the stay.

Great place!
We were there for my nephew's wedding. Our room was comfy, the property was clean and beautiful, and the staff was very friendly! I'm a vegan and was concerned I wouldn't have much to eat. Boy, did I eat! They had a vegan station at the buffet and every restaurant we visited accommodated me. Alvaro and Yahaira Rosa were extremely friendly, helpful and attentive to our family's needs. We were grateful for them!

Beautiful Resort and Excellent Staff!
This was our fist trip to Dominican Republic, and we were pleasantly surprised. The resort and beaches were beautiful, but we were most impressed with the staff. Our concierge, Norberto, was very accommodating and super nice. Our butler, Albert, was also fantastic. He checked on us multiple times a day, and was always able to get us the dinner reservations we wanted at the times we wanted, and even escorted us to the locations. He was also great at finding and reserving beach beds and chairs. Top notch service! We also made many friends with bartenders and servers throughout the resort as they were all very friendly and attentive. Ronni in the preferred lounge is an outstanding bartender!

Wedding trip 10/10
The entire resort exceeded our expectations and we couldn't have asked for a better time and place for our wedding. This resort was family friendly but also had it's own area for adults. Food was better than expected despite what some other reviews stated
