    Great time

Overall great hotel, perfect size, not too big. Lots for teenagers to do. Beach was in great shape better than reviews we read before going, they were always grooming the sand to clear any seaweed. We are not beach people and we loved walking it everyday because it was so clean. Pools a bit cold no one was even at the swim up bar but it was very windy when we stayed and that did not help when in the pool. Rooms are great sizes and all restaurants we ate at were some of the best food we have had at an AI resort in Mexico. I would say the only annoying thing was trying to get pool chairs. But that’s also a resort problem at most hotels. This resort really was great and we have stayed at sister hotels in Mexico including adults only and we loved this Dreams.

Fun and luxury all in one !!

We would put this on the top of our places to return in a heartbeat. We usually travel at secrets which is adults only so we really didn’t expect much traveling with family to a family resort.. we could not have been more wrong and more surprised! All of the touches that we expect from an all-inclusive resort were here . Wine in the room stopped mini fridge, delightful staff, beautiful surroundings and oh so many activities.!! The food was good the French restaurant outstanding ! Italian pizza oven was a nice touch. Try the pear pizza it’s quite delight.. hibachi was fun. It was a fun event for family.. the typical show stopping chef activities while they chopped the vegetables and plated the meal it was quite entertaining! But one of the things that really stood out for us was a service . You know how sometimes people say you’re a lifesaver well that was literally what happened with one of our staff. My husband is an insulin dependent diabetic and his wearable monitoring device failed on the second day of our vacation. Without this, he can’t monitor when he needs more insulin and when he needs more food. We had been assigned a Butler and our Butler was able to track down a new wearable glucose monitor. Without this we potentially would have had to return home.-without this, my husband’s glucose levels could have risen or fallen into life-threatening ranges. But. Our Butler., Noe, spent several hours helping to locate a glucose monitor and then when we discovered the monitor was different than what my husband could use on his phone app, Noe spent several more hours locating the right monitor. Noe literally saved my husband‘s life.. because of him we could enjoy our vacation without worry. I can’t thank him enough. We were traveling with family that included three teenagers ages 16 to 13. They had a ball there was always something to do whether it was the waterslides or the roller glider or beach volleyball kayaking so many activities for young adult adults.. they even got me on the roller glider and I am not a young adult!! But I still had fun. The service was outstanding. The food was great. The beach is beautiful. we assumed. that because this was a family resort that the experience would be less than optimal. We were very, very wrong.. we plan to return just as two more mature adults. We were pampered with wine and treats in our room , with turn down service and chocolates on our pillow every night, and we enjoyed the premium alcohol that was offered in the preferred club. we honestly can’t wait to go back The sand drawing in one of our pictures was done by the pool concierge Adrian. He literally made the painting with handfuls of sand that he drizzled over the towel quite a talented young man.

Great for young families. Not so much for "adult only" style of visit.

Just got back from our second visit to this property. Our first visit was two weeks after they reopened in 2021 at 30% capacity. I was expecting a different experience and that’s what happened. Let’s review some of the information you need: 1) Kids. This a huge, kid friendly resort. It’s perfect for those 12 and under. Our teenager wanted to come back and did have fun. But this is geared toward younger, so there is a lot of noise and energy around the pools. I’ll get into the “adult only” stuff later. This isn’t your place. 2) Pool chair game. You know you need this information. You know you want it too. Prime chairs are gone by 7:00am and second tier chairs are accounted for before 8:00am. If you miss your alarm, you lose. Good luck. Seats always readily available at “Preferred Adult Only” pool. 3) Preferred Club. Meh. The room was 6th floor so that’s part of it. The actual club near the lobby is nice to get snacks and a drink. But that’s it. The “Preferred Only” breakfast at Bluewater was a snoozer. It’s quiet and takes 30 minutes to get your food. If I was booking again, I would not go preferred. It is not worth the expense to me, but YMMV. 4) Restaurants. All were fantastic. Make your Himitsu table reservation at check in. It’s tough to get it. It’s the best food at the place. Portofino and El Patio are also outstanding. Bluewater steaks were a little underwhelming, but there’s so much great foods to be had elsewhere. I skipped Oceana as I didn’t see anything on the menu. The only negative I would have is that a lot of the hot held foods at the buffet don’t hold their heat. They are cold by the time you sit down and eat them. Try to get the hot foods that are custom made and cooked right in front of you (missing the handmade tacos right now!) 5) Pools. You’ll really enjoy them from the chair you picked up at 6:45am. Preferred Adult is the warmest and the Infinity is the coldest, but tolerable after you get used to it. The lazy river is a favorite of mine as it’s perfect for floating around with a cocktail. It’s also a kid favorite, which is a perk more than a negative. The slides are fun and the splash pad looks fun for the young ones. It has a cool bucket that sprays everywhere. 6) Staff. Some of the best people we’ve ever had. Some posts name them, but it’s all of them to me. Maintenance, pool staff, activities staff, restaurant staff, bar staff, concierge and housekeeping were all very polite and will get you anything you need. I loved that all of them have a sense of humor. It’s hard enough learning another language, but to give, take, and understand humor is a huge positive for me. We took care of everyone we interacted with. All the help was appreciated. 7) Access. It’s 15 minutes from the airport. Perfect. Watch this area because the huge Royaltons got finished since we were last there and there has to be another five or six projects active now. It’s going to be a hot spot soon. 8) Drinks. The selection is quite good. Numerous tequilas and rums are available. There was never a wait at all for a drink. Tip: Most Dreams have Martell, but this one had Hennessey. Have to know where to look 😉 Twice was enough for us as our kids are getting older. Next year we’ll try somewhere else. But I’ll always love this place for what it is. A pretty big resort where you get to be a kid with your kids again. No cameras please 😊

    Just Okay

We stayed at Dreams Natura from April 7-12, 2025, selecting a garden view room. Upon our arrival, we debated the idea of upgrading to a Preferred Oceanview room mainly for the preferred pool, despite some negative reviews. In the end, we concluded that it was a worthwhile decision. While our room was acceptable, there is room for improvement, such as a fresh coat of paint and updated fixtures and furniture. The bed was comfortable and the room felt clean. The most impressive aspect was definitely the breathtaking ocean view, which never failed to leave us in awe. The upgrade to Preferred allowed us to access the exclusive adult-only pool reserved for Preferred members and it is monitored. We had no trouble finding a chair at any time. Damien, the pool concierge, was always friendly and attentive, ensuring our stay was enjoyable and catering to our needs. Omar, Luz and Jesus the staff members serving drinks, were quick to notice when our glasses were nearly empty and promptly brought us refills. Restaurant: We dined at the buffet a few times and found it to be okay food. The furniture and floors in that area are in need of an update. We also ate at the à la carte options they don’t require reservation first come first serve, food again was alright. The hibachi table required a reservation, and once again, the food was just alright. The Lounge "preferred club" our evenings were enjoyed with cocktails at that spot. The exceptional service provided by Freddy and David was truly remarkable. The beverages were delightful, and upon entering, our preferences were already anticipated by the staff. Spa: Upon moving up to the preferred tier, we were gifted with a complimentary 25-minute back massage that we gladly made use of. Victor was our skilled masseuse on this occasion, and he truly excelled in his role. We opted for an 80-minute spa package which consisted of a 50-minute massage and a 25-minute facial - I would definitely suggest trying it out. The whole session was absolutely delightful. Nayibe and Yesenia were the two therapists who conducted our massages. Following the treatment, we indulged in some hydrotherapy which proved to be quite a pleasant experience. On the whole, the staff made up for the resort's lack of popularity, cleanliness, and food. Although not our first choice, we maximized our stay and always enjoy being in paradise.
