Amazing waiter beautiful views.
José in food service - waiter at Himizu also filled in at Portofino and world cafè was out of this world. He made our experience top notch. The views were beautiful. The beach was just outside our swim out room. We loved the private swim out. Beautiful location.

Dreams Costa Rica
Wow! What an incredible two weeks we’ve had here. The place is beautiful, the food is delicious and the staff are great. The wildlife is fantastic and you can hike for miles on the trails. We even saw dolphins close to the shore. We walked to some of the other beaches - bejuco, coco, Rajada, coyotero but beware of people’s dogs running out as you walk down the road. We also did some day trips. The activities team are lovely and we enjoyed the Zumba, dance lessons, water aerobics, hikes and sunset kayak. Thanks to Natalia, Antonio, Valerie, Jesus and the others. Waiting staff were equally great and let us practise our Spanish, esp Alice, Ana and Olbar. Every encounter with a member of staff was pura vida. My only gripes would be some very entitled, loud and rude US guests and the not very comfy beds and pillows. Overall though, made some amazing family memories and fell in love with Costa Rica.

Costa Rica at Dreams
We had a good time in Dreams Costa Rica. However, our experience plus have been further enhanced if the staff in restaurants were flexible to our vegetarian needs. Additionally, the telephone in room wasn’t working and we missed our tour as the tour operator called our room so there was no communication.

Beautiful resort, but beware.
Resort was beautiful, but Preferred Club is not worth it. Swimout pool was not usable due to the amount of debris (plant/tree), wine, other than house like everyone else, is additional cost and it is ridiculously high. And be prepared for a poor beach experience, it is public, so there are dozens of people trying to sell you stuff, and 6 of 8 of us were stung by jelly fish : (

First Time to Costa Rica
The resort is pretty remote and roads around the area are not high quality. This makes it slow to get around. The food was pretty disappointing both in quality and variety. Beach was not a place that we wanted to spend much time. Service was below other all inclusives that we have visited. The weather was pleasant and we enjoyed our swim out room. Overall, the experience was not as we had hoped, and we would go to a different resort if we ever return to Costa Rica.
