Miguel is the man at Spice
We went to Spice where you can reserve a Teppanyaki table for 8 and our chef Miguel was awesome! Funny, skilled, and very polite. Give this man a raise! Highly recommend Spice. The resort was also very clean and staff was very helpful and tended to us in a quick fashion.

Dreams Jade - Trip 2023
Magnificent service in the Lobby Bar by Francisco. He was very friendly and made our party laugh and attended us very well. This enhanced our check-out process waiting in the lobby bar area while we waited for our flight. Thank you Francisco for your friendly customer service.

Sun, pool, beach, activities and rest!
The Dreams entertainment team rocks! Andrea, Christian, Emilio, Jennifer and the rest of the crew do great Zumba, water aerobics and pool games. Cici showed me Pilates I had never done before, and I enjoyed it immensely. The resort was really clean, the food was good in the buffet, French restaurant, and Japanese restaurant. Surprisingly, the Mexican restaurant was the one place I was disappointed. There was not much vegetarian / vegan options. I would have liked a fruit option on the menus, as the buffet was closed at dinner, and the cafe had little bowls that were mainly lettuce. The room was clean, and quiet, but the windows in the hallways should have latches so that they can stay open. With the wind they clanked against the window especially at night. Many nights we had to close them. Did not take part in the “non-time share” tour. Sure, we would have received a dinner or leisure money, but we heard it was a hard “sell”, and even a couple who went didn’t get the “dinner” they were promised. So happy we didn’t waste 90 minutes (we heard it is way more then 90 minutes).

Fantastic resort with an all-star staff
My family and I visited Dreams Jade resort for a wedding/vacation. The entire experience was fantastic and not at all what some of the reviews here and on Google seem to describe (some claims of which are flat out false). What you’re getting here is a 5 star resort with all the features and amenities that you would expect. As the title suggests, the real hidden gems of this resort are its staff and I would like to call out a few here by name: The entire Animation team (particularly Andrea, Emilio, Grace, Chris, and Saul) who always go out of their way to make each day fun and unique. Their games are creative and their enthusiasm is unmatched. They always like to make sure you’re participating via a personal touch without overstepping into an annoying or awkward routine. I’ve been to many resorts but this animation team is the best I’ve encountered yet. Appolonio (the pool/beach medic) who is a knowledgeable and kind person who will go above and beyond to ensure that you’re safe and comfortable if something were to happen. For context, I had cut the bottom of my foot on the pool drain and Appolonio was always there to provide a wound cleaning and change of bandage when requested. The wedding coordination staff (particularly Tania) who ensured that my sister and her husband had the best day of their life. Care and an attention to detail means that the wedding was a storybook affair. Not a surprise since the hotel does quite a few of them but it’s nice to know that they don’t lose their unique touch. Now that the great stuff is out of the way, here’s the not so great stuff: - the quality and variety of the food is lacking when compared to other hotels in their weight class. It’s not bad by any means but it can definitely be better. - certain basic features like poolside tables and trashcans seem to be missing for the most part. - drinks do seem to be a bit watered down. This didn’t affect me as much and I personally think it’s not that bad as you get to try a greater variety of cocktails and drinks as a result. - wait times for food are a bit much. I get that restaurants like a course based approach but waiting 15 mind between courses after waiting 30mins to an hour just to get seated will make anyone antsy. - internet can be VERY slow. When it works, it’s just fine but at times it will disconnect after being slow for a while.

Not happy
This was our 4th time here and will be our last. The menu selections changed and not as many options. And the quality of the food in every restaurant was not good.Review: This was our 4th time here and will be our last. The menu selections changed and not as many options. And the quality of the food in every restaurant was not good. One restaurant was closed our entire stay. We have always had ocean front in blg one and I requested it again this time. Having made my reservations almost a year in advance, I have never had issues getting blg one. This time we got blg five. It was an ocean view 4th floor but we had the roof of the buffet restaurant in front of us, all around both balconies. Ok...so we could live with that. But the last 3 days of our stay they started construction on this roof. We had a corner room so the banging of hammers and grinding noises were all around us and not ok. We asked to be moved to another room and were told there were no others available. Last night around one in the morning there were people in the pool making so much noise it woke us up! They close the pools in the early evening to prevent a bunch of drunkos hooting and holering and disturbing guests. So I am not sure how this group of people got in the pool. Let alone be so disrespectful of other guests. At around 11 pm we had a knock on our door and, again woke us up. My hubby said "just a minute" while he was trying to get dressed and the male staff person came in anyways. He said he was there to fix the a/c. Our a/c was just fine and we never requested any maintenance. This was our last night here and we had to get up early to get to the airport. So being woke up twice was just uncalled for. I did tell the gal of these issues as we checked out and she could care less. Not even an apology. The staff at the pools, bars and buffet are super friendly and amazing. But unfortunately not enough to get us to come back again One restaurant was closed our entire stay. We have always had ocean front in blg one and I requested it again this time.
