We had a suite with one bedroom and a pool. Room was very nice. Food : we didn’t care much for the food at the buffet and restaurants. Nothing tasted good. Lots of fruits and nice desserts. Pool was nice. Coffee shop was great. Beach beautiful. Shows were very nice. Definitely will recommend.

Relaxing holiday with family. Very nice beach and perfect swimming in sea and swimming pools. Perfect meals and drinks. Rooms are little bit smaller (for 2 adults +2kids), not enough storage place, missing reading lamps at bed. But it was great family holiday.

Great stay
Exceeded expectations. Food and service of superb quality. Rooms clean and in great condition. Variety of food options was nice. Explorer club very nice for kids and staff very professional. Close to little town and 50 min wall to Bayahibe. Overall great stay

Wonderful property! Will be returning for sure! Best beach in Caribbean
This resort is fabulous! We went with our 8 year old twins and their aunt - 5 of us altogether in two rooms. We asked that the rooms be close together and they delivered so the kids could walk back and forth. We had a swim out room and everyday the pool was cleaned perfectly. Beach: Exceptional - 10/10 If you are a beach person this beach really can't be beat. The sand is white and the water is crystal clear - they even have a man made reef so you can snorkel right off shore. Room (swim up suite): Great: 9/10 Always perfectly clean. Kids sleep in a separate room. The room has a slider that walks out to the pool. The only reason for not 10/10 is that the bathroom only has one sink - really not a big deal. But there is a separate water closet! Food: Really good: 8/10 We've been to a lot of all inclusives and this is right up there for food. There were def some restaurants better than others, but overall it was really good. Portofino was the best at this resort and the best compared to the other Portofinos at Secrets we've stayed at. Activies: Sonoa Island - 10/10 We went through Mike Fisher and it was the highlight of the trip. The beaches are amazing and then when you get to the natural pools you'd think you were in the Maldives. Absolutely amazing. Water is like three feet deep and still way off shore - kids loved it. Sting rays and fish go right by you. Overall: Excellent: 9/10 We will definitely come back. Our expectations were exceeded in just about every area. Here's a few comparisons in case you've been to other properties: Secrets Cap Cana 8/10; Hyatt Ziva Cancun 6/10; Secrets Maroma 6/10; Secrets Akumal 9/10; Secrets Playa Mujeres 4/10; Impression Moxche 9/10; Impression Isla Mujeres 9.5/10. Our butler was Gustavo and he made the trip special. He was so attentive to everything we needed, both via whatsapp but also making it a point to talk with us when we'd see him - just about daily. We got a very reasonably priced cabana and our servers were Ruddy and Esther - both of whom were amazing! Service was 11/10! They even checked in on the kids to make sure they had everything they needed and brought them ice cream cones from the buffet - so nice!

my opinion!
the resort was good and the food was nice. new year’s party was very fun. our room was big and spacious and it was cleaned every day, but it kind of smelled like mold.the people working here are also very nice and fun, they were always singing and ready to help.
