Fantastic Family Resort
The resort was AMAZING! It was more than we could have hoped for. The staff went above and beyond all the time and were so helpful and friendly. The resort and rooms were immaculate! There were so many activities for the kids (ages 7, 10, and 12) that they never got bored and never complained the entire week. Food and drinks were yummy! The gated village was an added bonus as we could enjoy time off the resort without any safety concerns. We highly recommend this resort for families.

Great area, and good hotel
Overall, a good option for a laid back all-inclusive resort. I love the Puerto Aventura area and the resort was clean and well kept. The room was spacious and we loved the swim out room with our own little pool. Great for when the kids wanted a little space from all the other people in the large pool. We were also right across from the large pool so very easy to get to everything else when we wanted to. If you are a foodie though, this is not the place for you. Food quality is fine but lacking in flavor but I think that's pretty common for a lot of all-inclusive resorts. If needing a different option every so often, it is only a 10-15 minute walk to the main shopping and restaurant area for the town.

An okay resort with an excellent beach and not great food options
Resort - Smaller and older resort compared to several other Dreams resorts we have been to, only 2 pools of which one is for preferred members. Rooms were ok, for us the Air Conditioner wasnt working great so a lot of nights felt pretty warm. Beach was amazing, one of the best we have seen from previous resorts, loved it. Food - We are vegetarians and kids have egg allergies - horrible food selection for vegetarians, barely any options and the ones that were there, ie - fruits , were kept next to meats , very unappetizing and did not feel fresh. Being a tropical place, they barely had any tropical fruits there just the basics like oranges, melons, grapes, etc. I would definitely not recommend someone who is a vegetarian to visit this resort. I have seen many other Dreams resorts with more options and who actually want to cater vegetarians , ie- keeping food separate, clean, minimal cross contamination, etc. Service- Excellent service, a shoutout to Andretti for out breakfast service, always helped us as much as he could and tried his best. Always smiling and made the kids laugh. Manager - Ernesto ... amazing gentleman, he made sure wherever we want to eat, there would be some vegetarian options, even though sometimes it didnt end up being that way (not his fault) , but he went out of his way.

NOT a 4 or 5 Star Hotel....
Unfortunately we didn't have the best experience due to a sewage smelling room, terrible buffet, mediocre service, and a lack of cleanliness. This is absolutely not a 4 or 5 star resort and we are not fancy/picky people. The al a cartes were good, minus my chair breaking mid meal. The platinum club was meh, the platinum pool was bath warm and dirty, to the point where it seemed maybe the water was not circulating. It took a veeeeerrrrry long time to get a drink at the bar and by a server. Unless you were tipping everything drink, they would not come around (I will say they were at least friendly). They had 2 servers working the pools, which should be double or quadrupled. Half of our trip 1 of the slides was broken. The Mexican restaurant was closed - however they did have the Mexican menu in the buffet one night. The beach is very rocky.. The pillows were TERRIBLE - I even ordered from the pillow menu and nothing improved. The breakfast buffet was the worst I have ever had. DO NOT purchase the swim out room if you are a light sleeper - the kitchen is right beside the swim out hallway and they walk all the trolleys down with plates/ food/ cutlery, etc. all through the night. It was ridiculous how much noise was happening during the evening hours from the staff. We paid a premium for a Dreams hotel vacation with a swim out and severely disappointed. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. I am truly not one to complain and this is the first time I have ever reviewed on Trip Advisor. I was excited by the reviews and either we had terrible luck, or people just don't understand what a 4-5* all inclusive should be. Again, this is absolutely NOT a 4 or 5 star. I would give it a 3.5.. Do not waste your money unless you are getting a super good deal! The P.A. area is amazing. We rented a golf cart during our stay and were able to visit the area. I would return but I would only stay at an airbnb or another resort.

Was a decent hotel with friendly accommodating staff.
This is our third time visiting this resort and been satisfied with the hotel staff and accommodations. While our third trip cost just over 50% more this year we have been disappointed in some of the run down conditions of the facility. The hot tub didn't work or the jets the entire time and they allowed unruly children to turn into a kids playground pool, for my wife and I this was a complete turn off where children rule and older adults don't enjoy what we paid for. My wife and I enjoy playing pool in the game room but found that there was no cue ball because children rule there too and it was not replaced. I have attached some photos of the condition of the lounge chairs which many were broken down and unusable. While the staff and room accomodations have always been good, these other negative aspects of this trip have left us a bad taste and would not recommend older couples who just want to have a nice quiet place to go. It's not that we are against children having a good time, but there doesn't seem to be much respect and training many parents anymore and they allow children do whatever they want, and this resort welcomed that philosophy. In other words depending on your age this is either great or terrible.
