Nov 16, 2024The reviews are outdated. Renovated hotel with top notch staff.
After reading previous reviews I was concerned when our Association booked the Doubletree for our conference. I was very pleased with my stay. The hotel is going through a massive renovation and the rooms and public areas are brand new. I really enjoyed the landscaping around the hotel. Every staff member was pleasant and helpful. I didn't use the restaurant but the catering for our meeting was excellent. I would definitely stay here again.

This hotel has a 3 star rating but 2 star service. It is hard to describe all the things that bugged me about this hotel but what really annoyed me the most was coming back to my room at 4:30 and finding my room had not been made up. I later found out that you had to REQUEST housekeeping 24 hours in advance! Now how was I to know that?? There was nothing in my room that said that. I checked in the night before at 5:30. So that was impossible. The layout of this hotel is terrible. You could walk for 5-10 minutes to get to your room. The rooms have recently been updated and they were clean and efficiently designed. That’s the most I can say about my experience.

Outstanding customer service
The outstanding Customer service and making a frustrating situation better. Chef Keith Wallace went above and beyond great customer service. We had some issues with our dinner. The appetizers were not up to my standards. We got a new order that were just were just great ! Thank you Keith and The Doubletree Sacramento!

Oct 21, 2024I would never stay here again
This place is awful. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean, BUT the walls are paper thin (I could hear everything in the room next door and in the hallways crystal clear) and during the last 2 days of my stay the water was barely even lukewarm, which made showering extremely unpleasant.

Oct 06, 2024Lock your balcony!!!!
I recently stayed at the DoubleTree with my daughter from October 4th for two nights, and unfortunately, our experience was quite disappointing. Upon check-in, we proceeded to our assigned room, only to find another guest entering from the balcony. This individual was smoking and consuming alcohol, and the room was in disarray, with towels scattered everywhere. While now exiting the room, the woman claimed to be a staff member, but her attire suggested otherwise. We returned to our car to store our bags and went back to the front desk to report the situation. While the staff apologized and offered us another room (along with a complimentary cookie), our next attempt to settle in was also unsuccessful. Upon arriving at the new room, the key did not work, necessitating another trip to the front desk to resolve the issue. This series of events was incredibly frustrating, and regrettably, I cannot recommend this location based on our experience.
