    You Can’t Smell the Pictures

I went to FL at the worst time. It was cold. The Doubletree is overall okay. This location needs some serious remodeling. The room is spacious, but the bathroom is small! The shower is old; the water isn’t temperature-controlled, so it changes from hot to cold. The phone is outdated and doesn’t have a front desk button. No one answered for the bottoms: bell services, care services, concierge, nothing. The worst of it all: THE GROUND FLOOR SMELLED LIKE SWEAGE. No matter which entrance, it just stank. They temporarily plugged in an automated air freshener, but it was only at the door, so as soon as you walked past the door, the stench smacked you back into reality. The walls are paper-thin, and you can hear everything. (🍆) So I bought earplugs. Forget about a midday nap; housekeeping is on the phone, slamming doors, and talking loudly. The earplugs didn't work that well. Speaking of housekeeping, only one of the seven days was my room actually cleaned. Often, trash was left behind, new towels were given but not taken, and No One knew how to make a bed. Next parking, ... let's just say I got my steps in every day. Food: Laguna breakfast 4/10; lunch/dinner 6/10. When I passed, no one was ever at the market or an employee at the ice cream shop. The only thing that kept me there was the view of the fireworks at Sea World. My room was perfectly placed, so on New Year's, I saw four to five different shows at once. It was like the whole city line was lit with sparkles. Despite the terrible facilities, the front desk staff were polite and helpful. The cookies were fresh and on-demand, so some light was in the dark tunnel.

Mold in rooms , stay away

Terrible stay. Book elsewhere Rooms seem to have mold and health hazards and bad management and service They are also terribly overpriced. They also charge you 30$ a night for parking which they dont tell you ahead. The front desk does not lift calls to address service issues in the rooms in a timely manner

    Horrible experience

Horrible stay. Paid high price for a horrible experience. Lot of mold smell in rooms and plumbing problems. The tower you see is not what you will be put at. They hide the parking fees from you and do not mention that at check-in or check out statement and charge it on your credit card later

    Worse hotel

It was the worst hotel I've ever stayed at; the room smelt, the carpet was wet, and the staff was awful. Everything was filthy; I never expected to pay that much for a hotel stay of that calibre. The parking lot was $30, and there was an additional service fee of $56, even though it was listed as included.

Probably the worst ever hotel experience I’ve had in the 53 years of life.

Starting with the room we made a reservation for. Upon arrival the room was not available for us and they told me they only have one handicap accessible room available. We initially purchased a room in the tower. Which now wasn’t available. Horrible customer service. No one on the same page. Watching my account they put holds on my account three times. Within four days. Don’t use a bank card make sure it’s a credit card with a high balance because they don’t have proper business practices where you know what is being charged. Probably the worst experience I’ve ever had with Hilton.
