One of the Best
Excellent room with view of the mountains. Breakfast buffet was probably the best I’ve ever seen at a Hilton hotel. The food was great. Also, the TV was the biggest I’ve seen at any Hilton hotel (60-inch?). Hotel staff and front desk were super nice and polite. Hotel is located near downtown with plenty of restaurants nearby. One minor point—-only two Diamond member parking slots. More are needed for such a large hotel. To conclude, as a Hilton Diamond member, I rarely give a Hilton hotel “5-stars” (most are 4, which is still above average). Keep up the good work—you’re a stand-out hotel!

!!!Warning for parents with toddlers!!!
We stayed at the Double tree in Colorado Springs. Our stay was fine, but the reason I gave it a 1 star is for a safety concern. I wanted to warn parents with toddlers. The rails located in the room balconies and rails throughout the hotel have an opening wide enough for a toddler to fit through. My 2 year old toddler fits though it. We’re concerned that a small child can be in danger of falling though, especially on the balconies. Please keep an eye out for your small children if you plan to stay here.

Give it a shot.
I don't know. They seemed friendly enough. Lovely room. Hot and cold front desk. Fine at check in but I arrived after check in started. I was there two nights. Maid service didn't show after night one. I made sure the do not disturb sign wasn't on the door. I was gone from 730 until 430 pm. They had 9 hours to clean my room. But no, I got back and nothing had been touched. They had to call someone and housekeeping had left for the day. So I sat on the floor outside my door waiting. Breakfast the second day had week old bagels that were hard as a rock and dried out bread. The front desk the morning I left, which was the overnight shift, was wonderful. Friendly and energetic which I was not! The rooms are a long ways away from the front desk.

Trending downward Hilton
My Company put me here and was excited till i got here. Everything was “skin off their back” from check in to honoring status, to clean bathroom. I think the front desk is new and green, but it was enough frustrating enough for me to check out and go to La Quinta next door. (Yes, from a doubletree to a La Quinta). Clean room and friendly staff for the win over there. Hilton used to stand for hospitality, but guess like good things those days are gone.

Top notch customer service
Great customer service! From the Starbucks barista in the lobby to the front desk staff and restaurant servers, everyone was so friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. Daniel drove the complimentary shuttle to the airport and was so professional and courteous.
