Lovely November Trip but very busy
Hotel was decorated by 26 Nov with Christmas decorations. Thanksgiving dinner at hotel was lovely. Buses ran really well during week of Thanksgiving, bit slower week before. Resort very very busy - maybe busier than summer, and definitely busier by the week of Thanksgiving. Coffee often cold, but as usual pizza great value. Rooms were a bit dirty - first time this has happened at this resort. Area around toilet, and area below bed never cleaned in 14 days. No effort to make room ‘towel sculptures’ as has happened in past. Murphy bed was made up a few times during stay. Would stay again but probably wouldn’t return in November - too busy.

Affordable On Property Location
We have stayed here many times. It’s worth the upgrade to a preferred room. This puts you closer to the food court and buses. Room was very clean and staff was helpful. Food court had many good choices for breakfast and lunch. The pool bar was a great stop after check in. Definitely recommend as a value resort.

Disney Magic
Staff are ALWAYS cleaning and it shows, one of the cleanest hotels I’ve ever been to. Rooms are brilliant and you have no real need to be in them aside from sleeping and washing so does the job. There was a bit of a mess up with check in however - which was amended after an hour or so (with a huge apology). For its price point in Disney you cannot go wrong. Shuttle service is spot on.

Pleasantly surprising, come in with proper expectations and you won't be let down, very adequate resort
Come prepared knowing what you are getting here and you will not be let down. This is called a value resort for a reason. As long as you come in with the proper expectations, this resort is great! We wanted somewhere on Disney property so we could have the transportation to and from the parks and well as Disney Springs. We also wanted somewhere where we knew we weren’t going to have a dedicated resort day or need a lot of amenities, so we knew we could choose a more budget option here. It turned out for our set of days that out of all of the all star resorts (movies, music, and sports), that music was actually the cheapest. We took Uber from the Airport and it was easy. Upon entry, there are many friendly cast members waiting to help you out. They actually come to you instead of you waiting in a long line. Our cast member was so happy and refreshing, it really made us feel like we were welcomed on Disney property. She checked us in, and even honored the request we put in the system for a King bed. She said it wasn’t ready yet, but she would put in the system to housekeeping to put it next on their list so it wouldn’t be long. We would get a text message when it was ready. She also made sure our magic bands were properly linked. One of ours was having issues and she was able to deep dive to find the cause of my magic band not linking and she fixed it for us. Shout out to the front desk cast members! While we waited, we walked to the food court area to get our resort refillable mug (great program if you are going to visit resorts or pass by the food court every day to fill). You could also have a meal here, it was always crowded whenever we went in to refill our mug. The food court is large with many options including whole pizzas! It was even crowded at 10:30pm or later at night when we would come back from the parks! After getting our mug and refill, we checked out the shop right next door. They have all star exclusive merchandise and a huge pin board for trading. (There is also a huge pin board at the front desk). The cast members at both locations were all extremely friendly. By then it had been less than 10 minutes and we got the text that our room was ready. The app showed our room number and building number with a map so we could see where we were going on property. We were very lucky to get the calypso section right outside the main building. I did see another party checking in next to us where I saw the cast member drawing on the map the path all the way to the back at the country music section, that’s a walk! Upon arrival our room was cleaned and stocked. For 2 people (one king bed in the room) this was fine for a week. There are dresser drawers, vanity shelves, and a skinny open closet. You could also store some things on the shelves above the mini fridge and coffee maker (single serving). You also have a small cubby under the nightstand on each side of the bed. We had plenty of space for 2 people to get ready, as the sink is outside the toilet and shower area. Housekeeping comes every other day, and this is shown on a schedule in the room. They did come every other day to make the bed, take out the trash, and refresh towels. Now for the reality of the room, the walls are thin, I could hear families getting ready on all sides of the room, including above, behind, and to the sides. In the morning at about 8am, many people walk the outside halls to start their day and head to the parks, as well as housekeeping starting up their roles for the day. Therefore due to the noise, you really can’t sleep past 8am if you are a light sleeper. The bed is very very well worn, as is there are two sunken in divots, one on each side of the bed. This made sleeping on the mattress not the best ever, but when you come back exhausted from a long park day, you will fall right asleep anyway. The only way to access the parks are through busses. Outside the side/front of the hotel there are the bus lines for the parks and Disney Springs. There is a TV that shows the next incoming bus. Plan for a bus every 20 minutes but during peak times they try for every 10 minutes. We were able to get on every bus that came for us, we did not have to wait for the next one, but most every bus is full in terms of seating, only a few (at the beginning and end of the day) have standing room only due to being busy. During peak times, there is a dedicated bus for All star Music. The only time I saw the busses combining was at the very end of the night, I am talking right at an hour after park closing (we closed down Hollywood studios). Then they combined the All stars into one bus that made 3 stops. Would it be convenient to offer other alternatives than busses to the parks? Yes, but again as long as you come in with the expectation of what you are paying for versus what you are getting, you accept the busses scenario and it works out fine. The closest/shortest bus ride is to Animal Kingdom and the farthest/longest bus ride is to Magic Kingdom. All bus drivers were friendly and welcoming. Also, any guests that we passed walking about the resort were very friendly as well. In terms of resort amenities, they still have plenty to do! In the lobby there is a large board with all of the scheduled activities for the week. This includes a movie every night at the pool (I saw so many people at the pool enjoying this every night), a fire pit every night where you can roast marshmallows (free for the marshmallows, but pay extra for a full smores kit), they had a large game of chess set up by the pool, they have scavenger hunts, arcade tournaments, and much more. The main three caballeros pool had people in it every time I walked by. Even at a value resort there is no shortage of things to do here. One more shout out to a cast member named Gracie at the front desk, she went out of her way to contact the Contemporary for me as I had left my sunglasses at the table at Steakhouse 71. Then someone from All star Music went and picked them up at the Contemporary for me and left them back at the All star Music front desk for me to pick up. That is amazing customer service and guest experience so thank you to the All Star Music staff for going out of their way for me. The biggest plus to staying here is spending less on your hotel while still getting Disney property perks like early entry and transportation. The biggest negative is that its kind of out of the way so bus rides take longer, and the rooms/beds are a tad bit worn. With the thin walls and doors, it is what you would expect out of a value resort. At the end of our stay we were also able to store our bags with luggage services while we went to the parks before our flight. This is also something they offer if your room is not ready yet but you are heading out, you can also store your luggage as you are checking in with luggage services. Overall we were pleasantly surprised with this resort. I think though next time we stay at a value resort, it would be Pop century due to the convenience of the skyliner transportation.

Great time
Just back from a 2 week holiday, enjoyed every minute. Food was great, all cast members were friendly & helpful. Room could do with more storage but apart from that, was grand. To get a good night sleep, earplugs are a must as you can hear people next to you & above you. We stayed in building 6, Country themed, right beside the piano pool, was lovely. The resort is stunning in the evening all lit up. Buses to the parks were great, and the resort was spotless.
