Just wonderful!!! Loved every minute of our 6 day stay - the staff there, especially Kindred, were excellent!
Kindred, our desk agent, was top notch and so wonderful & friendly to us! The Hotel has a beautiful natural ambience inside with an amazing ocean experience as well as a warm pool (usually I won’t get into pools because they are too cold for me, but this one was perfect). Also, the desk agent, Kindred, went above and beyond to ensure we had an above Excellent stay! Unknown to us, the hotel had a business summit booked, and they had to set up the tables for a North American Water Summit Conference, so we had to leave the pool area by 2pm. Of course, we were quite disappointed, but when I mentioned this to Kindred at the front desk, he was able to give our whole party 2 free breakfasts two mornings in a row at the hotel dinning room. I was extremely happy with that! I am a professional counsellor as well as a business owner who has done their fair share of hiring employees and Kindred has a way about him that is not common with people, he is extremely “in the present moment” with his clients, his listening & communication skills are well beyond excellent, he is intelligent, diligent and focused on his task as well as patient and kind with clients - he would make an Excellent Manager in my opinion. The Diplomat Hotel is extremely (Extremely!) lucky to have such an employee: I highly recommend the Diplomat Hotel 5 stars all the way!

Poor customer service
Good evening. I have to say for how much I paid for my room the service has been terrible. I’ve asked 3x for my room to be cleaned and no one has done it. No where to sit by the pool or beach. Very disappointing stay. Definitely not worth what I was charged. Tomorrow I have to check out and you would t even let us sit on the beach til our flight leaves. I was told to find someone else to wait.

Amazing family hotel
We had a blast here with our two young kids. Amenities are great. Highlight for us was the kids club - Evelyn and Valentina are amazing and our kids loved them. They have so many activities for kids and families programmed throughout the day!!

Fantastic beach resort, great food and drinks, wonderful service all the way through
Fabulous resort for families!! Just so much to do. Fantastic swimming pools, food and beverage service both poolside and at the beach. Our beach manager was Maxwell. What an outstanding gentleman. Provided for our every need at the beach and kept us happy the entire visit. Hotel is wonderful. Great view of the ocean and the intercostal waterway. Great location and very easy airport access! Can’t wait to return.
