Mar 23, 2025Staff was over all friendly and helpful. Never seen the manager but he is definitely unprofessional.
The pictures on their website are not accurate. The rooms smell, they are old and questionable and the hotel Manager Roger Mahood decided to place a personal comment on my google review. Not only did he say publicly that my card was declined he also publicly stated that he was sorry I don’t have enough money to travel. I am beyond disgusted. The ocean view was the only thing that made this place.

Rooms are outdated a little, but very clean. Great customer service at check-in and during stay as we requested extra bedding and they brought it right up to us. Air conditioning worked. Great view of ocean via balcony. Cute kitchenette if needed. Parking on-site and free, which is always a bonus.

The room was clean and housekeeping had left fun towel swans on the bed and fancy folded towels in the bathroom. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Right on the beach so I could hear the waves without even opening my balcony doors which was very nice. Only negatives were that faucets in bathroom could use updating and the hot tub by the pool was dry and had fencing around it.

Wonderful stay
This hotel was great! Definitely request an ocean side room! Beds were very comfortable and the hotel staff is excellent! We will definitely be back! The view from our room was spectacular! I had never stayed at a Wyndham Hotel, but this one is amazing!

Great
Read this please. I rarely take the time to do reviews. I have stayed in many places on the strip over the years b/c my sister lives in Port Orange and I must say this was my favorite. I am terribly picky and I really liked this hotel. The room was very clean, bed very comfortable, views AMAZING! The staff, very friendly and accommodating. Sherri was so nice and the man I booked with, forgot his name, was so nice, housekeeping was friendly and everyone made me feel welcome. ( GOOD customer service, keep it up please!) The pool was great and HEATED! A hard find in Daytona and NO you can’t get in an unheated pool in winter in Daytona, believe me I’ve tried for years. (Now I’m afraid I won’t get a room when I want one b/c everyone will want to go here!) lol Ok one issue, I didn’t have hot water at night. Hopefully that was a fluke? Oh and I’m waiting for Sherri to get back to me with my future booking request. I don’t want to stay anywhere else in Daytona and I’ll be visiting 2X a year. I hated to leave. 😩 Hopefully I’ll post some pics if I figure out how to do that from my iPad. LOVED my stay here! Colleen from freezing NJ! ( I do like the cold too tho.)
