    Great place to stay!

Staff is extremely friendly and helpful, more than nearly any place I have ever stayed. Complementary breakfast is awesome. We were going to a show nearby. Will definitely stay here again, we truly enjoyed it. Rooms are very quiet, great place to stay!

    Everything You Need

It’s not fancy, but they have everything you need. It’s quiet, everything works, it’s clean & efficient. The free breakfast buffet was as extensive as many you have to pay for in other hotels. All the equipment worked well in the exercise facility. Just a great value.

    Ok hotel

Hotel has very good classical architecture! Service is poor. They ran out of drinking water bottles. In one of my friends room the shower panel and the flush did not work. Staff was able to call someone immediately to fix things up at 6 in the morning which was good! Front desk did not care much or at all about anything.

Price was good, had some fantastic features, but needs improvement

I stayed here a couple of years ago, I had a really good stay, so I stayed here with my family two nights over Labor Day 2024 weekend. This hotel has some really nice features, but also has room for improvement. The on-line rating was good, the price was inexpensive, and my stay from a few years ago were the reasons I booked. First the good. The free breakfast was as good as anywhere I have had at a motel. I ate there two mornings, ate a bunch of different foods each morning, and still didn't get to try everything. Service was outstanding. The bathroom in the room was recently refurbished and was top notch. The controls for the shower were push button and water temperature was electronically controlled. It was amazing. The room was reasonably sized, and air conditioning unit was very quiet. Now for the needs improvement. The TV only picked up a few stations, and they were sketchy at best. For the most part, the TV was unwatchable. The game room was an addition off the pool, but the game room was 80+ degrees, and half the games we tried didn't work. The ice machine on our floor didn't act like it was plugged in. The drinks we had in our refrigerator froze, and the refrigerator had an annoying rattle when its compressor was running. Will I ever stay here again, maybe, but I'll try some other places first.

Please continue to update this hotel!

LOCATION…LOCATION…LOCATION! Safe area of Clayton and easily accessible to the highways and to WashU. Although I felt relatively safe the hotel gives off a “haunted hotel” vibe. We stayed in an ADA room and there was no shower curtain. The Moen shower was nice but without a curtain the floor of the bathroom quickly got wet. The AC unit is very loud. The bed was comfy but with the loud AC shutting on and off I woke up several times through the night. The price is great for a clean room in an older hotel that has seen better days. Getting your parking ticket validated every time you leave the garage was inconvenient. On the weekends you can park in front of the hotel at the meters that are free.
