I am traveling for work and there was a mix up on my end and the company responsible for making the reservation dropped the ball The staff at the front desk was very patient and helpful. Joy, Cynthia and Keith took great care to get things fixed and I really appreciate it

It’s my birthday today. Not enjoying the stay here at crowne plaza. Nice appearance but the beds are horrible. Woke up with back pain. The housekeeping does not refresh the room at all. Had to call down to ask. Beds are very squeaky and hard. I recommend do not stay here. Nice location though. But that’s it.

This hotel is located in the best location between Bourbon Street and Canal Street, the most popular shopping area, and
We stayed in 9 rooms for 3 nights as a group. Guests loved the hotel's location, the cleanliness of the rooms, and the helpful and friendly staff.If I had to pick one thing, I would say that the breakfast could be a bit more substantial, and that there is no restaurant where you can have dinner.

Great Location and Great Staff
The rooms were clean and spacious with plenty of drawers, closet space and hangers to place your clothes in so you didn't have to live out of a suitcase, and they had 2 safes for storing your items you didn't want to carry with you out in the streets. We were in a room with a big window that provided us with a view of several of the Mardi Gras parades that came down Canal Street which we did make use of while we were there. All in all, the rooms provided a decent place to stay. However, I do believe the hotel is in need of a little bit of renovation. Would I stay here again...yes, definitely. The hotel is located at Canal and Bourbon Streets smack dab in the middle of the French Quater and it was very centrally located so we were able to get to wherever we needed to go without a lot of hassles. However, the REAL reason I gave this hotel a 5-star rating was the staff. They were all so very accommodating and helpful when we asked questions about where to eat, what attractions to visit and just about anything that we needed to know about New Orleans. First and foremost, I have to give a big "THANK YOU!" to Byron for all the wonderful care and assistance he gave us during our stay. His service was "OUTSTANDING!" We felt like a part of his family the way he treated us. He is the real reason that I would most definitely come back to the Crowne Plaza on my next trip to New Orleans. Thank you, Byron. Your service was very much appreciated. 👍🏽👏🏽👍🏽

Great 18 year old party hotel
We came for our anniversary and have stayed with Crowne Plaza in other cities many time. This place is a S*** hole! They have a bunch of 18 year old's partying. Do not come to this hotel if you are looking for your typical 4 star experience. The front desk is extremely unhelpful and management does not care once they have your money. If you're looking for a night that isn't relaxing or for any kind of couple celebration, then this is the place for you.
