Utter garbage
The check in staff is beyond rude, disinterested and disrespectful. Utter garbage. Nothing to do with the hospitality business. No uniform. Frumpy. Thought I might be in NYC. Cold. Key cards didn’t work. They were downright bitchy. And when they charge the incidental to my card Apple declined it as suspicious! They treated me extremely rudely. They had the front door open w some large truck idling making too much noise. So trying to converse w these two insanely rude women was hard to begin with. They made zero effort to make it easier or more pleasant. Next day, lobby full of dirty disheveled people as we came downstairs. Plus NO hot water for showers. Next day, much the same. NO hot water for showers. Lobby full of dirty disheveled people. Came back from sight seeing to a hall way of dirty heaps of linens w dirty gloves on top. Room has broken furniture, no fire alarm. Broken or non working lights.

Convenient French Quarter hotel.
Great location, friendly and efficient staff, beautiful lobby, clean room of average size, comfortable beds. My stay was marred by construction noise from vacuuming rocks of the roof of the hotel that went on for at least 3 days. On the street at the front of the hotel, the vacuuming equipment made so much noise it was impossible to be heard without shouting. I was grateful to night desk clerk Rayon who accommodated me on a room switch the second night of my stay to a room at the back of the hotel.

Rude unhelpful staff
Rude staff, manager Byron so rude to us after we tried to raise a complaint. They turned the water off the morning of our departure and attempted to kick us out without showering etc or planned to charge us for staying to water was back on (an hour maximum) they lied stating that there were notifications but nil were sent to rooms. Many others also complained. Rooms smell fusty, we managed to moved rooms on our first night at 0100, no assistance was offered with cases. As others have said house keeping is extremely poor! Avoid their restaurant as overpriced, steak tough and blood all over plate. No discount given despite complaint and issues. Poor poor customer service.

Very poor housekeeping!
Housekeeping did not clean our room, although we left early in morning. We call the front desk twice after getting back to our room but still no one came to clean the room or take the trash. Although a housekeeping was on the floor when we returned to our room at 3pm, she stated she couldn’t clean our room because she was doing check outs only. Then she said she didn’t speak English, in English. Front desk excuse was housekeepers don’t speak English. Only 1 set of towels in the room, although it was booked for two people. Had to beg for extra towels. We ended having to get towels from the front desk ourselves. The air vent was extremely dusty in the bathroom. You can tell it hadn't been wiped down in a long time. Bed linen had holes in it. Telephone was dusty and without labeling. Carpet not vacuumed prior to our arrival. My house isn’t kept like this, sho why would they think it’s ok for customers to pay their money to stay in these conditions!

Love this hotel!! Had couple issues that were quickly resolved. Thanks to Byron and Nira for the best customer service I’ve ever received in New Orleans. I’ve stayed at over 15 hotels around French quarter and this is by far my favorite for location and service.
