Sep 06, 2024Wayyy too noisy! The girl at the front desk should have recommended a top floor to help with the noise
The hotel and room was very clean and the staff was very nice. No one gave us a heads up to the level of the noise from the bars on either side of the hotel and our room shook until 4 am with loud pounding music as if we were in the bar We were on a long drive and needed a good nights sleep and didnt get any. It is in a great location but only if you are going to be out until 4 am otherwise you wont get any sleep

I don’t usually rate so called “budget“ hotels, but this Courtyard by Marriott was a cut above. The rooms were quite large and the location was fantastic. Close by numerous restaurants and bars and walkable within 15-18 minutes to the PPG Arena and the PNC baseball stadium. Even closer even closer to the Warhol museum. A short drive to the University of Pittsburgh and the Carnegie Mellon campuses. Valet parking only which is a negative, but the valet was consistently prompt. We would stay here again.

Jul 31, 2024Run, don't walk away from this hotel!
Room was absolutely filthy. Toilet has not been cleaned in quite some time, sink dirty and clogged, shower covered in mold, floor filthy. Clearly, the hotel/rooms need a facelift, but thats not to be used as an excuse for not cleaning properly. Onsite restaurant is closed. Looking back at previous reviews, they mimiced mine and were all answered with a canned Msg stating they would look into it. Clearly they are not.

One of my most disappointing Marriott experiences. Room smelled like stale cigarette smoke and carpet creaked like it had been wet and dried “crunchy.” Only redeeming quality is its location. An easy walk to PNC Park and downtown attractions.

Very good location
Nice downtown location that is convenient to many things including restaurants within a short walk. Easy and friendly check in, and overall the service was attentive and friendly for the most part. Our room was very large, but they are in need of updating and not as clean as they could have been. The halls and lobby are in need of a refresh as well. There is a lot of dark wasted space due to them removing the typical Courtyard cafe.
