Oct 19, 2024Needs improvement in the rooms especially the bathrooms.
Disappointed in the condition of the room. Bathroom door wouldn’t close all the way unless you slammed it. Drain stuck in the tub. Had to wedge a washcloth in it to get the water to drain while showering. No breakfast included. In room coffee was terrible and we are not picky. No tea. Could hear every word of the conversation of the people in the next room. For the price we paid the room was a disappointment.

Excellent service, comfortable beds, large rooms, had a nice courtyard to enjoy a drink and relax. They offer a bistro in the lobby with a bartender, along with food options so quite a nice feature for a Courtyard by Marriott. Lot of stores and dining options within walking distance.

May 04, 2024Fine for a short stay
Overall a good hotel with easy access to downtown Louisville. My first impression wasn’t great as the trash bins at the entrance were overflowing with garbage and the elevator floors were dirty as well, but there must’ve been a busy rush because the next day the hotel felt much cleaner. The room was a nice size. The gym and pool are very small, but worked for us.

There was pubic hair in the bathroom and white stains on the couch…. WiFi never worked and they did not offer any solutions. Desk lady seemed high out of her mind the rest of the staff was great but it took us at least 40 min to get checked in. Also an excess of toenails in random places. We had two different rooms and they did not get any better.

Could have been better
Stayed here for the weekend. The booking pictures are misleading. I booked a private king suite and was told when we got there that there is only 2 suites in the entire hotel and that they needed to update that online. We couldn’t cancel so had to stay in a small room with a baby with barely any room from my son to walk around. The tv didn’t work, the phone didn’t work…I had to call the front desk with my cell phone and they never came and fixed the tv. Was told breakfast was served until 10. Went down at 9:45 and it was already closed. There was an awful odor in the room. It was dated but clean otherwise. The bed was comfortable just disappointed in the tiny room and false advertising.
