Great location but awful facilities
The location to colonial Williamsburg is superb and the staff friendly, making do with what the have. However, so much is awful about this hotel. The first floor entry door was broken in the open position. Wildlife could wander in or homeless, not to mention 30 degree outside temperatures. The bathrooms were so disgusting from deferred maintenance that no one would use the showers--and we had a rooms. The gaps in the bedroom entry doors were large enough for cameras and peepers.

Old hotel in need of major upgrade
View of the hotel from the street is nice. That's where the fun ends! This hotel is in need of a major renovation. Popcorn ceilings throughout...say no more! Biggest problem is security. Most of the access doors don't lock or are broken. The large slider on the lower level to one of the hallways is broken and remained open ALL day and night! The room we stayed in, #167, was clean but was in need of serious upgrade. Carpet was old and torn. Tub in bathroom would not drain. Sink was leaking. Ceiling in bathroom was crumbling, cracked and falling apart. The door hinges and jams were rusty and had just been sloppy painted over. Terrible!! This place is one of the closest hotels to Busch Gardens entrance! Too bad! Could be a gem!

Cute clean hotel
Located a very close drive to Busch Gardens Williamsburg. This hotel was clean, the free breakfast was good, and the front desk staff was so very friendly. There were plenty of fun shops and restaurants nearby. Would definitely stay again!

Satisfied
Was a nice hotel, comfortable beds with plenty of pillows, very pleasant staff that were willing to listen and help with whatever the need was, they cared about their guest and their stay. Would stay here again. There were 4 of us together and we were able to get a room with a door between us and we just had a really good time.

Worst experience EVER
My experience would be a 1 out of 10. It initially started with being able to price match Best Western to Priceline. I submitted the price match guarantee form three different times and the third time was told by two different people two different reasons of why they couldn’t price match. I spent over an hour and a half on the phone . I then try canceling the day before and the customer service rep would not cancel my reservation. Upon arriving to Best Western, I was unable to use any carts of any sort to bring my luggage to my room after checking in. I instantly seen mold all across the bathroom ceiling, mold on the ceiling in the area where you slept at mold all across the tub with a bad odor. I went down to the front desk. They placed us in a new room. The second room was not much better very dirty and still musty smell . I contacted the customer service rep the next day to try to cancel for the second night and get a different hotel and again they did not help me would not cancel my reservation and told me I would still be charged. This has been the worst experience I ever had I will never stay at a Best Western again.
