Feb 01, 2025A wonderful beach/golf vacation.
I had an amazing time with my wife at Casa Velas. The staff is extremely friendly, and it was a very comfortable/relaxing stay. The dining staff was particularly exceptional, both at Casa Velas and at Tau (the beach club to which we had access). I would like to give a special shout-out to Rodolfo at Casa Velas and Carlos at Tau - their hospitality was remarkable, and we can't thank them enough. I was also very happy with how easy it was to access both the golf course and the beach club and how close Casa Velas was to the airport. I could not have asked for a more convenient and relaxing trip. Thank you again to everyone at Casa Velas!

Staff Made it an A+ Experience
My husband and I had the privilege of staying at Casa Velas the first week of December 2024. It was amazing and I’ve never come back from a trip feeling more relaxed and ready to get back to the chaos of everyday life. The staff (especially Juan, Ulises, and Ramon) were top tier. They felt like friends, and I was sad to leave them. When I got back home I kept saying: “I wonder what my buddy Ulises is up to right now…. I’m sure he’s being nice to someone at this moment”. It was an amazing trip and I look forward to going back in the future. To the resort- please take care of these guys- I need to see them when we return! The grounds and property were meticulously maintained. The food was delicious, and the bedding was luxurious. Thanks for a great trip!

Awesome Staff and Service
Stayed here for the 6th time and always enjoy our time. Beautiful grounds and the staff are the best. Shout out to Ramon,Ulises,Gerardo and Juan at the pool palapa, Freddy at the Lobby bar and Daniel and Alvos in Emiliano’s restaurant all took care of us. Recommend tipping in Pesos as they appreciate the cash. Also the concierge staff Miguel,Denis and Ricardo took care of everything we asked for or needed. Cleanest nicest smelling bathrooms on property of anywhere we ever stayed. Tau Beachclub staff were also great, Eric,Carlos and Enrique took care of us and went above and beyond when we were there. Food is always great and the drinks were premium. For sure heading back next year. Mike And Kelly

Amazing and restoring time at Casa Velas!
The service here is above and beyond. And the staff treat you like you are family. We have been three times and will go back every year for the rest of our lives! Juan Ulises Raman, the pool bar host, memorized our drink preferences from day one. We would settle in to our lounge chairs and immediately would be served exactly what we loved. And the servers at Emiliano’s are amazing. They too memorize your likes and dislikes as well as your name. Every time we have stayed here, we have felt like they were waiting for us and when we leave, they treat us like they will be waiting for us to come back. Casa Velas is a paradise oasis like none other!

Elegant, classy and top notch service
Lovely property with exceptional service. It’s classy and elegant, not a typical all-inclusive vibe. We have stayed at gran Velas several times and this is their smaller sister property. They definitely meet the gran Velas standard. Excellent food and five star service. We were especially impressed with the lovely Ulises at the pool who anticipated our every need and was just a kind, lovely person. What an asset . Bartenders Juan and others were also quick and charming. They are lucky to have them. It’s an older crowd, not rowdy but everyone is friendly, and the grounds are perfectly manicured. Definitely take the five minute shuttle to Tao beach club which was also exceptional service and food. We travel a lot and this stands out. If you want a quiet, comfortable, elegant place where you will be heavily catered to you won’t be disappointed
