The floors in the Villa were disgusting
Rented a 2-bedroom villa at Christmas. Nice layout and convenient. The kitchen was a big draw BUT was woefully short of cooking supplies. 2 pots and 1 pan. Unfortunately, we couldn't use the oven as there was no pan or baking sheet to put into the over. Repeated calls to Guest Services finally, after the 4th call, result in a Manager who basically said it is what it is. Then strangely, 30 minutes later, hotel staff delivered a ladle to the room. Really? We also found the floors to be filthy. Disgustingly filthy. See the pictures of what our feet looked like and just how dirty a rag could become after wiping on the floor. My 3 star review is generous....would be really easy to give a 2-star review.

Almost Perfect
Our family of four visited the Caribe Royale for the first week of the new year to enjoy the Disney parks. The service—parking lot attendants, bellhops, servers/bartenders, housekeepers, etc—was exceptional. Every single staff member we encountered wanted to go out of their way to help us. We stayed in a suite with two queen beds, a pull out sofa, two tvs, two desks/chairs, and a view of the pool. Our room was clean and well-decorated with a lottttt of space. The shower had both a handheld shower head & a rain shower head which was *chef’s kiss* It was cold for most of our trip, but our son braved the pool and water slide—we will definitely return in the summer to make the best of that. My only real gripe is that the “shuttle” to the Disney parks is really just a van & extremely limited on times.

Enjoyable winter visit
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Villas here. The staff was pleasant and each place we ate was tasty! Next time we may stay in a suite since it is closer to the main area. The only complaint is there only being two small hot tubs for such a large place. We definitely will visit again.

All good, enjoyed
Wonderful check in and close turnpike. Check in was smooth and easy. The room was larger than expected with great amenities. Two wonderful pools and good food. I will be returning. Will be returning in March because the parks a close by . Had a walk anti room with a sleeper, a microwave and coffee machine with coffee.

24/7 elevator through the walls
No matter how close a hotel room was to an elevator, I’ve never been able to hear said elevator through the walls. From our room we could hear it, rumbling like a grocery cart over tile, all day and night long. Front desk was unhelpful when contacted, just shrugged. The rooms were nice and spacious, bigger than your typical two queen. The main pool with slide was fun and heated. The kids pool was not heated and was very cold — unfortunate for a pool directed at toddlers/babies. We hoped to use the bikes but they only had a couple of them and they were adult sized. We tried fishing, no bites and the poles were loose and janky. Our stay was booked from their website with a promo that included a food and beverage credit. We called beforehand to ask about when/where/how to use it and were told one thing and then when we checked in, we were told something different. Not a huge deal but did mean we were grabbing something from the market at midnight to use the credit. Both times we were told it was valid at the on site Starbucks. Starbucks rolled their eyes and said, no, never valid there. None of the participating vendors knew how to use/apply the credit. Again, not a big deal, but seems like there needs to be clearer details given to the workers to support the customers. Also, on our last night, the elevators stopped working. All in all, our experience was fine, but definitely more of a 2 star hotel experience rather than 4 star (though the prices were 4 star).
