Oct 01, 2022Clean, comfortable, spacious, big in-room kitchen
I stayed here during Hurricane Ian for work. I was pleasantly surprised by how large my room was, and especially thrilled with the in-room kitchen! Full size fridge, two stovetop burners, a dish washer, a sink with soap and detergent, etc. The gym was also spacious and had 3 cardio machines plus a washer dryer room (your rooms had laundry detergent). The staff was nice and accommodating to all guests. The bathroom was large and the bed was super comfortable. I was VERY pleased with my stay and do recommend it.

Checked in for a one night stay and woke up to several roaches. Attached is pic of one on counter Trip Advisor review requires a minimum of 200 words but I don’t feel anymore information is required for a traveler to decide not to stay here. I can add that the hotel appeared recently refreshed but still had an old unclean feel. Carpet had large soaking wet area. Don’t know what the fluid was but it’s a pet friendly hotel so can only assume it was per urine

Convenient, clean and quiet
I was delighted to discover that our suite actually had 2 stovetop burners in the kitchenette, as well as pots and dishware! I was getting ready to boil some pasta for dinner and couldn't get the cooktop to work. I called the front desk, someone came to inspect it, and in just a few minutes we were moved to another room down the hall. I asked for a late check-out and got that without a problem, so here I am typing up reviews for Trip Advisor! Even though this hotel is located right next to the expressway and our room faced that direction, there was no road noise.

Vacation
I love candle wood. It is beautiful. Y’all really need to get a pool. I have stayed with you in the past and I enjoyed it too. Very convenient to many things. We stayed on the 4th floor. I thought the shower was great. Your towels need softener in them.

Nice location to stay without the hustle bustle in other areas, an enjoyable quiet stay. Clean facility and grounds kept nice, very clean room, clean linens, good pillows it was a relaxing environment to stay in. There are other local places but this is just what we needed.
