Apr 01, 2025Breathless Was Amazimg!
Kelly was exceptional. She provided the daily activities every morning. We had a party of 12, she made sure our dinner reservations were taken care of daily with transportation so that we experienced all the restraunts. This made my friends 50th birthday extra special. Kelly went above and beyond to ensure we had safe transportation to and from offsite excursions. Amazing communication!! Wilson was also AMAZING in Spoon for Breakfast and Strip Grill for Lunch and Dinner. He assisted with accommodating the Birthday cake, Special Birthday Shots, and special food requests. Carlos was very kind and patient. Provided rides and assisted with luggage. I can't remember the young lady name she's the bartender in the Exhale Lounge she simply fabulous!

Excellent value for money
excellent all inclusive. blue for money, excellent staff. Food is not top notch but doable. Staff is courteous and try very hard to please you. You even have access to the resort next door, dreams Onyx. Cleanliness is excellent, beaches are very clean and organized. we really enjoyed our stay.

Mar 30, 2025Clean hotel, good service, wont find seats or a towel
The hotel is clean, and the food is better than most all inclusive resorts. My biggest complaint is around the pool area. The resort allows people to “reserve” pool seats by placing towels or their stuff on them. This was unacceptable, people would place their stuff around the pool at 9am in the morning but wont even be at the pool all day. And then there was no where to sit for people actually at the pool. They should not allow guest to do this and remove their stuff. I have pictures of empty decks chairs from people that never showed up. My second complaint its there is only one towel station, it doesn’t open until 10am and you can’t get a towel after 5:30pm even though it doesn't close until 6pm. Also the towel station is at the main pool, which is inconvenient. If there is only going to be one station it should be between both pools. And there isnt a towel station at the beach.

Great experience. Wonderful Resort!
Great resort. A lot to do here. The pools are wonderful with entertainment. Beach beautiful and clean. Many restaurants and are all are great. Best massage in the spa I've received in a long time. Night entertainment is fun. Would definitely recommend Breathless to friends and family.

Mar 30, 2025This is not the Breathless experience you want
How the tables have turned for Breathless Punta Cana. I gave DR another try to see if a much highly rated resort would change my mind about the country but I will continue to visit Mexico instead. We still have an issue with language barrier as it’s my second time in DR. The breathless in Cancun is night and day a difference than Punta Cana. Breathless Punta Cana provides Liquor brands of low end quality. No consistency for the drinks of the reusable plastic cups. Between the bars, I was redirected to a different bar because I asked for a particular liquor. We can’t have that inconsistency. All I had was Don Julio in Mexico, but this place had house tequila and maybe a Jose Cuervo. It was all part of the Breathless Riviera experience. Vodka brands, that were unheard of. I could only get a black label at the night time bar which I thought wasn’t a big deal as that is a $35 bottle(not much a top Shelf bottle). Having 10-15 cocktails, wouldn’t help to catch a buzz during the day here. It feels all water down and little to no liquor. Coffee shops made good coffee but for others who enjoy iced, that’s just ice added to an already hot drink in the same cup. Buffet was overwhelming to walk around as it’s just a bunch of fried food; quantity over quality. I avoided it after day 1. I stuck with the well done burgers and hot dogs by the main pool. This can use improvement but it is what it is. Restaurants: I enjoyed the French Filet mignon. The rest? Can all use improvement. Hibachi was okay; but could use some tweaking. Maybe look at some YouTube videos on how New York style hibachi does it? The steakhouse wasn’t bad; just wish the service was better. We were forgotten at some point. Only reason I chose this resort is because the Mexico ratings went down and this one stayed up. Truthfully, I would have rather risked going to the Breathless Soul or Riviera instead of here. What happened to foam parties? 10 seconds of spraying the pool with champagne is not it. I do believe this resort fits under a 3.5star hotel with the low end liquor selection & sub-par food. HUGE room for improvement.
