Feb 26, 2025Unprepared for the Party Atmosphere and Disappointed with the Food.
Just back from 5 day trip to Breathless Punta Cana. Our experience was mixed. The weather was great, as was the beach- it was SO nice to be out of the cold. But, sadly, I would not call this a 5 star resort- maybe 3.5? The rooms were very nice but there is very little soundproofing. Most, but not all, of the staff was great. The beach and pools were nice but crowded. There is an unenforced no-saving-chairs policy so all the chairs in good locations are taken for the day by 800 AM. There is also an unenforced no smoking policy so you will experience cigarette and cigar smoke. For food- the buffets meals had great choices and quality. The a la carte meals were very inconsistent. Some were delicious, some were over-cooked, cold, or just not tasty. Definitely not 5 star. The wine was pretty low quality and there were no brand choices as there was with hard liquor. Speaking of liquor- this is a total party place. We’re not stodgy, but we were unprepared for the emphasis of drinking and loud music. By the end of the afternoon, behavior at the pool was raucous. I love to see people having a good time but drunk (and throwing up) I was not prepared for at an adult resort that bills itself as 5 stars. The guests were not spring-breakers- the average age was probably 45 ish. So we had a nice get away, but will not be returning due to the party atmosphere and food/drink quality.

Food was amazing, beach was beautiful, staff was great. I very happy with this 5 day get way. Also loved the resort incent around the property, it always smelled to good. Room sevices was always yummy. The variety in pool was great, you could have private spots, active spots and party pool.

Everything was super special and great
Everything was amazing especially Jose Ventura he was super caring and tentative bartender food was good service was amazing and the views were great 10 out of 10 experience definitely will be back hopefully in June if not in July I will be back

Great experience
2nd time at this resort. Food is good, staff is wonderful and the parties are really entertaining both during the day and at night. The End Zone was open this time and let me say….Jose V was the best bartender! He remember our drink orders and knows how to the best shots! I’d definitely go back a 3rd time!

Party Paradise
This resort is amazing. It’s absolutely a party resort and they put a lot of thought into the entertainment. There are constant activities, shows, hype people, you will not get board at all. The rooms are surprisingly large, bed is comfortable, bathrooms are lovely. The beach is phenomenal- a true beach experience. No disgusting seaweed, the perfect swimming experience. The pools are everything you want- if you want to get wild or have a chill day you will be able to do that in any of the pools or the beach there are just so many options. There are vendors on the beach but they are sweet, not pushy and respectful. The staff here is incredible. So kind and fun. Never had a staff experience quite like this. If you have the pleasure of meeting Juan in the Wink Bar below the lobby- you’re in for a treat. Alberto is the most fabulous bartender at the pool bar closest to the beach. For entertainers- look for Chocolate. This man literally made our experience special and fun. Cannot say enough wonderful things about this resort. We were celebrating my birthday and everyone went out of their way to make me feel special. Absolutely will be coming back and recommending this resort to everyone I know. 10/10 recommend.
