Not worth the money
Not worth the price. The hotel upkeep was terrible. Peeling, paint, moisture damaged furniture, 2 out of 3 jacuzzies didn't work, ice machine didn't work. Buffet food was good, service at the breathless buffet was terrible, better at the buffet on the Secrets side. Restaurant food was OK at best, inedible at worse. At the Mexican restaurant on the Secrets side we were served "fajitas" which was burnt cube steak with cold tortillas, no seasoning, no veggie and "shrimp aguachile" which was shredded lettuce in mayonnaise. Spoon, Culinaria and Sofrito are actually all the same place. And don't think you can see the beach from the "ocean facing" rooms. They face a muddy inlet. You can't see the beach from anywhere at the hotel.

Breathless experience in Jamaica
This was the best experience and service. Travis was the best butler, Noble was the best bartender at the pool, Melissa was a great server with the restaurants there. The entertainment group so much fun and made it fun shout out to West, Shadow, Cuban, and T-Jay. Lastly the concierge service Ameshia, Aliyah, Jodian, Stephen , and Neville our driver. You all made this an amazing experience ❤️

Fantastic stay
This was my first all inclusive resort stay and it was an amazing experience. The staff are fantastic and attentive, they have plenty of activities and things to do even if you never leave. The entertainment staff and bar staff were especially great! Shoutout to Reika and West on the entertainment staff for making me feel welcome and bringing me out of my shell, and Noble at the swim up bar for always having a delicious drink ready without me even having to ask!

Breathless, Secrets Wild Orchid and Secrets St. James Montego Bay is a YES!
My husband and I enjoyed our 10-day stay at the Breathless Montego Bay, ADULT ONLY resort. This was our first time to Jamaica, and we loved the people, the weather, the ocean, the pools, and the large number of restaurants to choose from across the street at Secrets. The resort is located close to the airport, and we chose it because we would give us the benefits of all three properties: Breathless, Secrets Wild Orchid AND Secrets St. James. The staff seemed happy, friendly and everyone made us feel welcome by frequently greeting us. The variety of specialty restaurants at Secrets Wild Orchid and Secrets St. James made our stay worthwhile because the Breathless property was quite small and had a limited number of restaurants. We especially liked the “first come first served” policy for most restaurants and enjoyed having the ability to eat an early dinner. One of the best things about the beach was the tub full of COLD bottled water at various locations along the beach! The beach was clean, the water was warm, the towels were readily available, and the tiki hut umbrellas provided just enough shade to make it comfortable.

Worst experience
Breathless resort had changed drastically. The staff is great but they can’t play loud music anymore, no pool parties, no more foam parties, nothing. The resort is quiet like Secrets and that’s not what I came back for the 2nd time for! The rooms also are getting ran down. My 1st room smelled like mildew and the cabinets were swollen from being wet and it was funky and smelled like mildew in the room so the 1st night I couldn’t sleep from smelling wood so the manger did accommodate us and upgraded our suite but again it’s not the staff it’s the resort itself. I was told Hyatt took over and had made those changes so I will not be returning for a 3rd time. This all inclusive is not worth the thousands of dollars we spend to visit when there’s no more entertainment and the food isn’t good. The guy that used to come and bbq for the guest don’t come anymore and we haven’t had a good Jamaican food on the resort the whole time.
